The hound tries to sniff the odd object.

The object, since it's being held by Regiji, still has a steak smell on it. The device itself smells like metal and ceramic and something alive, though not anything alive that is familiar. Oddly enough, Regiji smells much the same.

"Now hold still for a bit," Regiji chuckles, then presses the device to the hound again. It gives out a slight hissing sound and the hound feels a slight pinch. Hardly enough to bother such a great creature accustomed to the hunt. "There, that wasn't so bad, was it? Should help you heal up a little cleaner," Regiji says as he shoves the device back into his pack.

Maal pulls out his spellbook and begins studying it.

The hound tries to sniff his neck but fails since his neck doesn't twist that way. He looks up at Regiji.

Lillah stands up and wakes Jesion. They head out the door.

Karaki smiles and sips his drink, looking around, then sighs.

"I am so dead."

SASO leaves the tavern.
((You guys went through like 8 pages here since I was gone? Yikes.))

[Rebonack]

((Raises hand tentatively in response to avatar making.))

Regiji chuckles and begins rubbing the hound's ear.

"I wonder where you came from anyway..." he glances up at the nearest NPC bar tender. "Does this dog belong to the tavern? Or is he with someone here?"

[McBish]

Paige turns to Regiji "I don't know, he came in a couple of days ago. He has been hanging around the place since then." She shrugs.

((*Pounces on potential avatar request*))
Maal raises an eyebrow at Karaki.
Why do you say that?

[Rebonack]

"Huh, that's strange," Regiji looks back to the hound again. "Sal, see if you can't synch me up with our fuzzy buddy's neural pathways. Maybe I can just ask where he came from."

Sure thing, Regiji.

Karaki sighs.

"Arena battle. Once again pitted against an enemy.."

The hounds looks around a bit then up at Regiji You talk?

Maal looks amused.
Why are you even in the contest if you are so certain that you would lose?

[Exachix]

Karaki shrugs.

"My divine player was bored. And He didn't think people would have that high of an AC."

[Rebonack]

[speak with animals]"I do when I need to. What brings you to this place, aside from all the two legged creatures who give you food?"[/speak with animals]

Regiji takes note of the conversation regarding the Arena, but this is more important at the moment.

[McBish]

{canine} It was cold outside. I came here after horse thing tipped over.

[AmberVael]

Not all of them do. Besides, there are a number of ways to reduce the effectiveness of an enemies armor.
Now, I don't plan on ever going into the arena, but if I did people would be having trouble.

Karaki sighs ands gets another drink of cosmo, before sipping at it gently.

"There are..." He sighs. "Don't know of any, don't know If I can use them..."

[Rebonack]

The hound is likely referring to a horse-drawn cart.

[swa]"I see...," Regiji responds, looking thoughtful for a moment. "Were there any creatures that walk on their hind legs like me in the horse thing that tipped over?"[/swa]

Maal raps his fingers on the table.
Get something to turn you invisible, or if you are good at hiding, something that gives you concealment.

[McBish]

{canine}Yeah, Master was there and horse guy.

Karaki smiles faintly, before downing his drink and getting another.

"Doesn't help with the actual killing part."

[Rebonack]

"Now we're getting somewhere..."

[swa]"Did Master come to this warm place with you?"[/swa]

[AmberVael]

Oh? Why not?

[McBish]

{canine}No.

[Exachix]

Karaki sighs.

"I try and hit them. I can't hit them as their Armour is too good!"

He sighs.

"Gah! I fight for fun anyway."

[Rebonack]

Regiji looks somewhat concerned.

[swa]"Do you know where Master is?"[/swa]

[AmberVael]

Maal rolls his eyes.
You're hopeless. How can they defend against an attack they don't know is coming?

[McBish]

{canine}Yeah. The hounds ears drop a bit and he seems sad.

Karaki shakes his head then looks at Maal.

"I don't know! I never understood that! Wait. Doesn't that just give me a sneak attack no bonus to attack or anything?"
