[Rebonack]

Regiji laughs.

"Ah, that makes quite a bit more sense then."

The scent of steak is still lingering around Regiji.

[Ellear Ias]

Ellear walks up to the mirror and sniffs at it a bit.
"Nifty..."

[AmberVael]

"Yes it does..."
Earin is quite distracted.
"I'm sorry, I think I need to go and plan this out."
He waves an absent goodbye to Regiji and teleports away.
[hr]
Maal watches Ellear curiously.
Its a teleportation device of some kind, I can tell that much.

[McBish]

The hound goes over and sniffs Regiji and looks up at him. ((by the way the hound is over 3 feet tall at the shoulders.))

Karaki watches as Earin disappears, before looking around.

[Rebonack]

"No books for me I guess," Regiji shrugs as Earin teleports away. He then notes the presence of the very large dog. "Oh, well hello there. I take it you enjoyed the steak then?"

He rubs the hound's head.

"I don't suppose you're another talking animal are you?"

[McBish]

The hound turns his head to sniff Regiji's hand wondering if there is more steak in it.

Lillah stops rubbing her wrists and pulls her sleves down covering her scars.

[Ellear Ias]

Ellear, turns away from examining the mirror.
"So... There are talking animals here? As in humanoid like me or as in quadreped?"

[AmberVael]

I don't really know. Like I said, I'm new here.
Maal smiles and shrugs.

[Exachix]

Karaki looks up.

"There's a temple of Kitsune and their kin. They number about... 100 maybe... No that has to be wrong.."

[Rebonack]

Regiji grins, the proceeds to pull a second steak out from behind the hound's ear. He dangles it in front of the canine's nose.

"Both, actually," Regiji responds to Ellear. "I've seen a talking penguin and moose. And a gaggle of anthropomorphic foxes and wolves. Can't say I've run across any other cat people since I came here, but who knows," Regiji shrugs. "It's a very large, very strange place. Who knows what you'll find if you look long enough."

[Ellear Ias]

Ellear's eyes grow wide and she looks at Karaki.
"How would I go about finding this temple?"
Her tail swishes in excitement.

[AmberVael]

Maal shrugs and turns back to his drink.

[McBish]

The hound bites the steak being careful not to catch the steak guys hand. He quickly tears into it.

[Exachix]

Karaki points to the Mirror. "Go forth through that mirror and not really a mirror, it is a link between these two places." He then points to the door. "Alternativly, leave this building unto the streets, then up the road and turn into the Temple Quarter, within is Pagonda, that is the Fox-Temple of Inari."

Jesion finishes off the bamhacon and closes her eyes for a catnap, until Lillah wants to leave.

[Ellear Ias]

Ellear looks nervously at the mirror.
"So that is where this mirror leads... Thank you very much for this information. This may make my quest a good deal easier."
She gives a small wave to the patrons and, closing her eyes tightly, hops into the mirror.

[AmberVael]

Maal finally decides that he is dry, but glances at the sodden cloak and shirt on the floor and sighs.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and turns back to his drink.

[Rebonack]

Regiji rubs the hound on the head as it busily devours its treat.

"Now... what's a relatively mundane animal like yourself doing in a crazy place like this?" he doesn't really expect an answer, but he asks none the less.

[AmberVael]

Cosmo coughs and points out the fire again, and Maal simply glares at him once more.
No. I'm not going close to it.

[McBish]

The hound quickly devours the steak, and doesn't anwser.

Lillah reachs down and pets the sleeping Dogla.

Karaki looks over at Maal, in slight confusion, before getting a drink off Cosmo again.

[AmberVael]

Cosmo mutters something about stubborn fishy types who stiff the waiters.

Maal picks up his cloak and looks it over, then considers it. He closes his eyes, concentrating.

[Rebonack]

Hey Regiji.

Regiji's head jerks up as if someone had just addressed him despite the fact that no such thing just took place.

"Yes Sal?"

I'm only starting to detect this now, but that warlock guy's fundamental constants don't match up with those in this realm.

Somewhere off in the distance a cat-girl is struck dead by a lightning bolt.

"So... he's not from around here," Regiji shrugs. "Doesn't seem that unusual. Neither is the tavern's bouncer."

That's one possibility. Though it may have to do with the eldritch energy he channels. That may also be throwing things off a bit.

Regiji shrugs and continues rubbing the dog.

[McBish]

As Regiji rubs the hound he finds several scars on the hound.

[AmberVael]

Suddenly the water in Maal's cloak simply flings itself out of it and onto the floor. Maal reopens his eyes and puts the now dry cloak around his shoulders, then picks up his shirt.
Cosmo growls and goes to get a mop, intending to give it to Maal.

[Exachix]

Karaki smiles and quickly casts Presiditization ((No I can't spell it. Sue me.)) to clean up the water before Cosmo gets back.

[AmberVael]

((*Brings out the Dancing Man to be his lawyer* ))

Maal repeats the process with his shirt, but before the second patch of water can be cleaned up he simply boils it in an instant.

[Rebonack]

Regiji pauses mid-rub and parts the hair a bit, noting the scarring. He gives the dog a quizzical look.

"With all the healing magic that could be brought to bear on you," he says as he begins to fumble about in his pack. "No one bothered to fix you up? Poor old guy."

He extracts a cylindrical object the end of which is twisted forward about forty five degrees and presses it to the hound's neck. It feels a little cold.

"This'll probably help heal you up next time someone sticks their teeth in you," Regiji says with a smile. He hasn't used the device yet, but he certainly appears to intend to.
