The Silver Stars of the Eclipsing Moon

The healer starts as the coin flares and manages to dodge out of the way of the blue ray meant for himself.
"Iz everyone okay? I'm sorry!"
He has an apologetic expression on his face as he goes from person to person.

[Maryring]

"Yeah, I'm okay." Tyrgen answers while rubbing his left shoulder.

"I'm okay too." Mia answers, breathing on her left arm to warm it up. "Just a bit cold."

[Ozzy_G]

Karl looks at the coin wryly. I don't think that was the right thing to do.

[Lycar]

Varek simply stands there as he gets struck squarely in the chest by the ray.

"Brr..... i've heard about cold stares before but that was ... different."

Rubbing himself to warm up again,Varek thinks for a moment.

"Er.. maybe we kinda need another kind of light then ? Moonlight maybe ? I mean, would make sense. Kinda."

Bronsk sighs and sits down on the wooden floor, staring at the coin.
"Didn't think it would be dangerous," he mutters into his mustache.
"I wonder why that was wrong? Night falls, and the eye closes, but truth in the right hand and strength in the left are to let it see the light, yes?"
He leans back.
"Well Karl is right, maybe; the pieces may lie elsewhere?"

[Maryring]

"Perhaps but... it was only the truth that was shining on the eye. Not the strength... and even then, why go through all the trouble to make a riddle poem, and then let it end up as a trap only?" Mia asks out loud. "I think we're onto something. We just made a mistake."

[Ozzy_G]

I agree with Mia. If my original idea was right, that you had to do it somewhere else, then nothing would have happened at all.

[Lycar]

"Yeah but then moonlight won't work either. So maybe we have to find a way to make the sword glow or something ? Maybe you ..er... have to wield it or something ?"

[Amiria]

Lisaa

"No, we should try it again here. Moonlight might work."

Bronsk
Bronsk frowns.
"I think Varek is right, maybe." he stands up and paces to the table, picking up the sword in his left hand. He bites his lip as he looks at the mirror, all too aware of Vakri's gaze.

[Maryring]

Nothing special happens when Bronsk picks up the sword. It doesn't even get covered in cold energy, like it did when the rabbit thief wielded it.

Bronsk frowns and swishes the sword from side to side in an amateurish fashion.
"No light, yet the rabbit thief made it glow blue last night." Bronsk turns his brown eyes skyward. "But last night was a full moon, yes? Maybe it iz under moonlight that the blade works?"

[Lycar]

Varek frowns a bit "Uh... since when do rabbits wield swords ? Am i missing something here ?"

Karl chuckles. We chased a woman who nicked all the relics, and then when she tried to use their magic on us she turned into a... oh, damnation!
He turns to the others. We've forgotten her! She's still in our room!

The young healer blanches.
"Hyu didn't bring her?! This could be very bad...Tyrgen!" Bronsk turns to the tall spearman beseechingly. "Do hyu think you could go back and fetch her? It would be very bad if she got loose."

[Amiria]

Lisaa

"What, you left her there alone ? We must hurry back and fetch her !"

[Maryring]

"Don't worry." Tyrgen says to reassure the others. "I've got her." He pulls out the makeshift bag used to contain the rabbit. "Or at least she should be in here."

[Ozzy_G]

Karl relaxes. Phew. Sorry about that, I thought we'd forgotten her.

[Amiria]

Lisaa

"Oh, that's good. Thanks, Tyrgen.", says Lisaa. "Maybe she knows how to make that sword glow ? Or was it truly the light of the ful moon ?"

[Lycar]

"Huh, that's weired. I always thought, magical curses turn people into frogs or something similarly unpleasant. So you actually have a woman turned into a rabbit in that bag ?"

Peering curiously over at Tyrgen, he asks "Can i have a look ?"

Lycar

[Maryring]

"Well, if it is okay with Bronsk, then sure."

Bronsk
Bronsk shrugs. "Is all right. Just make sure she does not escape."

[Maryring]

With a careful nod to Bronsk, Tyrgen opens the bundle. Just as it opens, the bunny tries to leap out and flee, however Tyrgen manages to get a firm grip around the bunny and holds her up for Varek to look.

[Lycar]

Taking a good look at the bunny, Varek comments "Hrm.. looks like every other bunny i've ever seen before. Guess i'll just have to take your word for this being a .. cursed woman... thief. So what do you want to do with her ?"

Bronsk grimaces. "We don't know. She says she iz noble-born, so if we restore her, should could make great trouble for us...But she would not survive as rabbit in the wild." Bronsk looks grave. "I know this."

[Lycar]

"Does she know it ?" Varek asks of Bronsk.

"I mean, is she just a dumb rabbit now ? Or does she know what happened to her ?"

"And what now ? Wait for moonrise ?"

[Amiria]

Lisaa

"She has still her human mind. Bronsk already spake with her once, but it is only possible with a spell."

Bronsk nods. "But she can still hear very well with those big ears of hers. Go ahead and put her way again, Tyrgen." He flashes a brief smile. "I think we should concentrate on thiz...riddle."

[Lycar]

"Hm, yes, riddle. Kinda suppose we need to make that sword glow or something. You know, strength shining the light and stuff."

Bronsk toys with the sword for a moment and, on an impulse, holds the blade into the sunlight, turning it this way and that.
