Right, nods Karl, and leads the group off out of the slums, and towards the museum... after checking directions with the others, because he doesn't really know his way around this city.

"The elves don't like trespassers in their woods. But we usually watch or ask questions first instead of shooting. I believe that you'll be safe when I'm with you."

Upon returning to the museum, Nina greets you with a friendly smile. "Hey, yer back already?" She says as she lets you in. "I haven't had a lot o time ta check things out for ye, so I dinnae have much yet. I've found out one thing though. Seems dat someone like er visited a backwater village to the south. Dunno why, but dat's the only thing I got so far."

Maybe we should try that first, and maybe you might be able to find some more information on the other places while we're away, Nina. Could you just tell us first what the name of the village is?

Varek eyes Karl for a moment warily, then he speaks up. "Uhm Karl ? The one in the land of fields ? That's the one we already have. At least i'm pretty sure about this. Might be wrong though. But still.... i mean, there IS a lot of farmland around Sotonia and stuff..."

Um, I don't really know much about the geography down here in the south. Is there a particular problem to going through this Sapphire Port place. You mentioned it a few times before.

"Uh, no. There is nothing wrong with Sapphire Port. Now that I think of it, we could also go from here to the forest. But maybe we'll find some more information in or around Sapphire Port since the mysterious door is is in the mountains nearby."

Nina sighs loudly. "Well, as ye wanted to know, the name o' the village is "Fordicia". Doesn't lie too far from dat elven forest either."

"Got a map or something ? Sounds like a good place to start looking."

"Yes, we should go to Fordicia from here. Sapphire Port is in the wrong direction. But are we sufficiently equipped for such a journey ? I have lots of traveling gear but only around 20 gp in my pockets."

"Maybe i can help out a bit? That city of the elves must be in the forest in the south somewhere, right? So wo could go to Ruby Temple for a start. That's a city in the south. And i think they get all the elven wares from a city near the forests. So there ought to be a road there we can take. And once we are there we can ask for directions to the next elf city. Takes the wagons about 3 days to Ruby Temple, so we should be able to do it in.. oh.. 5 days or so on foot? And i figure it's another day or two to that town at the forest."
