Evening all!

New to OOTS, however I have caught up on the entire story during a massive, obsessive, month-long reading frenzy, just purchased & read all 4 books + the two prequels, and cannot wait for book 5. (The problem with this massive overdose is that now I have to somehow cut back to the pace of the new episodes appearing online... AARGH!!!) On the other hand, I am by no means new to the gaming world, having been a player & DM since the original "Boxed First Edition" days, so reading OOTS is just like seeing my party's adventures brought to life (only way cooler of course).

At this point I can only rightly compare waiting for the rest of the Order's tale, to the suspense I felt waiting for the end of Stephen King's Dark Tower saga. I only hope Rich isn't out walking in any areas where reckless minivan drivers are about to run him down.

So, there's my introduction, and we'll find out in weeks to come if I have anything of value to say or not. Let's hope the answer is "yes".

Hello chaps! I'm new to the forum, there there, and I've been playing (or trying to) Pathfinder since 2012. However, none of my IRL friends play either D&D 3.5 (which I am also familiar with). Or any Tabletop RPG at all.

I've done stuff on Roll20, sure, of which none lasted more than a week, but really? My experience is limited (read: close to none).

Now I've known of GTITP for quite a long time, starting from 2012 end-ish, when I came to learn of Order of the Stick, and I've been pulled back here several times for the hilarious antics of the D&D Funnies, and of course, BRC, whose rep goes beyond this forum.

So, I'll just say, I'm into a combination of true roleplay and rollplay, so I'll just... walk over there... while the AD&D chaps come and yell at me about how Pathfinder is just "homerules D&D 3.5".

While I might be forgiven for focusing on my personal life, I did it at the cost of people depending on me to keep the games running smooth. I have left the forums for a while, with no warning or even a PM.

On another note, as you can see, my avatar is a paladin guy who looks like the friendly neighbor, which means I'm Lawful Good. (The nice kind). And while I generally don't mind conversing with those considered to be "chaotic" or "evil" aligned, if such a person were to commit atrocities against the innocent I WILL SMITE THEM!!!!!
