Salutations, I just signed up. I always seem to be reading the forums on this site and have often been frustrated at my inability to engage in discussions. So when I had a question about invisible weapons and could find no previous discussions for it I decided the time had come. This actually my first time operating on any forum whatsoever. Hello Forumites (Giants? Stickies?)!

I've been reading OotS for a few years and I was impressed by how often the forum comes up when you're searching for answers to RPG related questions online so I thought I'd pop in officially and say hello, wave, make a nuisance of myself etc.

British 30-something tech-geek here, currently playing in a 2nd Ed. campaign as a human Cleric, a Fading Suns campaign as a human Engineer and a Werewolf campaign as... Well, I can't really remember as I've only played 1 session and the terms are a little... New. I've got an Exalted campaign on hiatus with an eclipse caste and a 3.5Ed. campaign in which I played a Warforged Sohei which sadly seems to have been broken up by relationship collapse.

Let's see what happens shall we?

Hola everyone. Longtime reader here but I finally decided to make an account for the forums and see what I can contribute.

Im a Computer Science University student, who is currently running some mates through the Rise of the Runelords Pathfinder Adventure Path. Its all of them's first time playing a full campaign, some of them's first time playing at all, so that's been alot of fun to do. Im also quite a book nerd. Ive managed to finish the Wheel of Time series, Dragonlance (Almost all of them at this point), Tolkien and some Sanderson as well.

All in all I think ill fit in alright here.

I've been playing RPGs (particularly D&D 3.5) since my husband introduced me to them seven years ago. I play with him and his family, and I ran a Japanese-themed game for a number of years. This has been on hiatus since I started studying for my accountancy qualifications a few years ago, however, as this has swallowed up the time I used to use to prepare.

I stumbled upon the OOTS comic a month ago, and read them all up to the current ones in less than a week. They're brilliant!

Since my studying is coming to an end now, it has inspired me to start putting together a game again. The articles and forums here have already been invaluable, as I like to run 3.5 in a homebrew setting.

My only gripe about RPGs is that I'm the only one in the group who has the staying power to run more that a couple of games, so I never get to play!

In the lower right-hand corner of someone's post, click on "reply with quote" instead of the "reply to thread" button, and your post should begin with what was in that post. Hope that helps!
