Em, hello! I'm not really sure what to say here.....

I'm a 17-year old girl living in Minnesota. I've been a long-time reader of OotS, and I finally got around to making an account here. I play various RPG's and dabble in the OotS visual style. I guess I joined to interact with more people and learn more about D&D.

I got out of the hobby because my s.o. at the time wasn't into it. My half-painted warhammer collection, big bag of dice, and RPG manuals were misplaced when we were moving; we broke up when I found out a few years later that that box was thrown away

Ahoy GITP forum!

I'm in my early 30's, been playing RPGs for about 20 years, and I'm reaching the point where I'm the last unmarried holdout among my friends with the free time to play games. I live in a College town, so players are easy to recruit, but they're all a good deal younger than me, and the association doesn't typically extend beyond the table. Also it means I wind up in charge of games far more often than I can find any to play in. I'm pretty much joining here to talk shop, brainstorm campaign ideas, and share gaming stories.

Games I play a lot, or think about and wish I could get people to play a lot, in no particular order:
Exalted
D&D (3E and 4E preferred, still making up my mind about 5E)
GURPS (Fantasy homebrew and hacks of other games on this list whose systems I don't like that much)
Mage: the Ascension
Changeling: the Dreaming
Changeling: the Lost
Ars Magica
Shadowrun
In Nomine

I game in Provo, Utah... so if you're around, and any of those sound like fun, and especially if you or someone you know is willing to take the GM chair for a change, let me know!

Hi! My brother got me into Dnd recently, I'm really enjoying playing 5e so far. I have no idea if its good compared to older ones, but I'm having so much fun. I wish I could get some of my girlfriends into it. Always loved fantasy.

Been a lurker for a bit, finally decided I wanted to come out of the shadows, so to speak. A little bit about me: I live in Phoenix, Arizona and I'm currently cooking at one of the resorts here. In a few months time, I'll be going to basic then DLI in either the air force or navy and I'd like to spend some time playing around here before I head off. I'm a big warhammer fan, and have GMed a couple games before. I'm not sure how popular it is here but if anyone is up, I'd like to play (take a break from GM though) :)
