Yo, New D&D player here.

These comics started me on my road, and after struggling to find a good group in town, I eventually found Roll20 and had my first game last Sunday.

Had a blast, and can't wait for Friday to play again. Looking for advice and ideas for altering classes, I remember that Giant had a forum, and decided to pay homage to my beginnings.

If you guys could do a newbie a time-saving favor, I would appreciate any links to helpful NPE posts, and possibly a guide on playing Monk or Ranger.

Obviously just registered. My friend is a huge fan of the strips and may be around here somewhere, he highly praised the boards. I've been playing for about 2 yr, started with 4th ed but was enough of a nerd for Baldur's Gate that i was already kind of familiar with many of the mechanics of 2nd ed. Now I'm the DM running the group's inaugural 5e campaign and so far it's going fairly well, though I did have a deliberate plot sabotage last session*. Came here for DM advice and rules clarifications (my barbarian insists that his attack is a STR check and therefore gets advantage, and i now have confirmation that it is definitely NOT).

I'm a big fan of the NBA go spurs and I am quite a music enthusiast.

*what's fun though is they can't screw up the script because there isn't one

Hello! I'm Andrian. I just joined, so please don't kill me if I make mistakes while posting. Every community is different and it takes a little while to become accustomed to a new one. I'm here mostly for play by post roleplaying, because I enjoy that, and I'm especially interested in finding a Pathfinder gestalt campaign. I've read some OotS, but not a ton, and occasionally I've taken advice from articles on this site, especially back when I GM'ed a lot (mostly GURPS back then).
