I like that the people in the real world look pretty real, especially in comparison to the ones in Erfworld, despite being easily recognised as part of the same art style.

Is Parson going to look real in Erfworld, or is he going to get "erfified"?

And yeah, Ashna was pretty cute. I imagine the adventures of Parson's friends to figure out what happened to him will continue to be a story we follow.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that refering to cartoon characters as "hott" is kinda weird? I mean they are fictitious, 2D, computer generated conglomerations of color and shape. Just seems weird to me. I'm not denying that they were designed to be attractive and appealing to the eyes, but calling them "hott" basically boils donw to "I want to have sex with her". Think of the paper cuts, if nothing else.

rofl I will beware the paper cuts. But saying someone is hott is just saying they are attractive. that doesent neccissaraly mean that you want to have sex with them . for instance my sisters are attractive. that doesent mean I am inscestuous.

Indeed - by the same token, I think many women are hot, but that doesn't mean I want to have sex with them (don't swing that way). It just means that one is capable of recognising a fine thing when one sees it.

Does this apply to pictures of real women? After all, they are just 2d conglomerations of color and shape.

I think you're taking it too literally, Mauril, but I do agree. I am particularly puzzled by people who seem to prefer drawings to the real thing (although I suppose a drawing is no less real than most of the airbrushed crap on magazine covers). I've never understood why people get all worked up over a representation of a person that doesn't and has never existed.

Then again, I also don't find porn interesting at all. Maybe I am just the wrong demographic.

Whatever the case, I bet within the realms of both of them being drawn characters, Parson totally has an unrequited thing for Ashna. Poor Parson.

Well, they still represent a sufficient amount of key stimuli to trigger a certain kind of response. ("Wow, she's hot (for a comic character)!")

This is why I differentiated between "hott" and attractive. Attractive means appealing to the eyes, which I will agree, the character's in Erfworld are appealing. But "hott" (especially the spelling with two t's) implies a lusting after or a sexual appeal.
@Taffer: I guess it's mostly the fact that they never existed that makes is different from pictures of real people.
@Grimmsfeld: It's not that you print it out, but that she is, at best, a colored sheet of paper in her most "real" form. That's why I warned of paper cuts.
@TheAnimal: Agreed, hence attractive or cute (depending on stimuli triggered). The "for a comic character" makes it less weird, but still, "she's hot, for a polar bear" is still weird.

w/e, whether you choose an anime character or the Miss January centerfold, it's all using your imagination. And yes, Parson does pretty well for a tank-sized (and probably smelly) gamer with his choice in friends....

Given the webness of this comic, I'd be more concerned about the conversion of my, er, relevant attribute into a digital format. I mean, what if it became a 0 instead of a 1?

In binary, measurement is a moot consideration, but:
