    With the addition of the Dwarves of Triumph to the Mormaerdom the ancient dwarven nation stands ready to emerge as a greater kingdom, yet obstacles still stand opposed. The construction of Mind Conference sites to facilitate faster communication between the three northern and singular southern holding are paramount. Efforts must be made to unite the dwarven people in this cause, and the heretical religions must be burned out from the fabric of the kingdom. It will take time, but Alikai sounds his opinion that it shall be done in his lifetime.

    Within Ayava, the Radurjic heresy maintains a strong hold and the Children are unable to banish the minority reserved to the region's Taratibu of their false beliefs. In an effort to weaken the beliefs of the Radurjics the Illuminator magicians are sent to the lands of Faedas and the Seaborne Confederacy to prove that their tricking illusion magic plays a part in the role of the Mother as Great Deceiver. The Emperor of Dusk is also invited to construct a trading post for the magicians. The Mormaer hopes this will weaken the Radurjic hold and speaks knowingly with clans over trade of a coming reward for this action.

    The basic coin in the Glazfelli Currency System is the tol (plural toler), sometimes misspelled 'toll' or 'toller' since most road and gate tolls are 1 tol. A tol is a small bronze coin that is usually embossed with the crest of House Daan (or, for coins made outside of Glazfell, with the crest of the current ruler's house). There are variants of the tol equal to 5 toler, 10 toler, 50 toler, and 100 toler, though they mainly differ in size (each larger coin is visibly but not proportionately larger than the one before it) and in the numeral on the reverse. The 50 toler and 100 toler coins have a slightly more visible profile, with the embossed crest gilded rather than left in bronze.

    200 toler is equal to a single cress, a larger gold coin with iron trim usually embossed with the profile of the current King of the land in which the coin was minted. 100 cress is equal to a single libra, which is a silver coin the same size as a cress, inlaid with a single specially-cut Tear of Yphine. Libra are not usually spent directly except in very large purchases.

    The whole system is set to a silver standard. Most things are paid for in toler or, for expensive things, sometimes cress. Libra are usually only spent in high-end finance because they are representative of much greater wealth (and are extremely difficult to counterfeit convincingly).

    The person and their nation that returns the Valterran Avatar to the Temple shall be greatly rewarded by the First Brother. All faithful are given the authority of the Lord to search the lands of Nyroth and any attempts by secular forces to halt them shall be considered ungodly and in such obstruction of the Lord as to demand Holy War.

    For all the mystery of the Valterran Avatar in Nyroth however it pales in comparison to the secrecy atop the Blazing Mountain. Starting in the winter of 364 none but Brothers and Sisters of the Temple are permitted to set foot upon Temple grounds. Monks of the Temple journey down to collect bread from the swelled number of faithful in Lyradis, the couriers no longer permitted to journey up the mountain themselves.     Zosimus is decried for his inability to accept defeat and the consequences of his failures with many blaming his northern upbringing and Carmine whore as the source of his petty and childish march for claiming what is no longer his by any right of Kell law. Others blame Pankitus and the other Kell generals who in fear of repercussion from Carmine spared and banished Zosimus rather than kill him outright as would be done with any other failure. Some question whether perhaps these circumstances are not indicative of something more for Zosimus has cheated the death any other would have received and now marches with the silver Crown of Kellan upon his brow. Despite the varying responses Pankitus Argulus finds no lack of volunteers to fight against Zosimus' foreign army. Never have the Kell bent to a foreign power and they shall continue to defend against it. Even those who speculate of Zosimus' role as the returned Kellan ready arms, knowing if they are true his truth must be proven in battle and not upon a gilded crown.

    Pankitus surprises many Kell and the warriors of the nation grit their teeth with dismay as the helots of the Banished Kingdom are whipped into a fighting force to drive back Zosimus and his Carmine supporters. Kell pride runs deep and some within the army spit at the notion of non-Kell non-warriors fighting beside them but even the meanest warrior recognizes the implicit necessity with the approaching armies of Carmine.

    The alliance with the Zhedo of the polar north and the cession of lands to these new allies is said by some to foretell some coming move by the Voreal Kingdom to make an attempt to recover the Iero Dominion. Others speculate it to only be the Kingdom seeking allies where it has failed to find them before. All watch the actions with rapt attention, anticipating Maraat's next move.

    The pursuit of spreading the Doctrine outside the borders of the Kingdom and to the aid of the Frost Kingdom of Maur surprises many, and some speculate this to be a further attempt at gaining allies. This notion is dispelled however as the Pagos Autokratos issues a letter in accompaniment of the missionaries to the "Frost Queen" chastising her for selecting such a presumptuous title for herself and her kingdom while her faith is still fresh and her people still unconverted.

    An opportunity for cities to celebrate the finish of the year and beginning of the new year. The celebrations on this day are harmonious and enjoyed by the many free cities. Such a hospitable time is a good time for visitors and tourists, who can see Sphynks who always enjoy singing and dancing to participate with free knights and even Zuiguo types. To describe differently, it is the happy new year festival which has become well established, to mirror oppositely the Midsummer Knight's Festival.

    2) Eternal Autumn Forest Temple Completion
    (Faith Action)
    The Q'jes monks have announced the finish of their Eternal Autumn Forest Temple. Although it is difficult to navigate the beautiful forest, many ambitious tourist have spoken of the beautiful scenic location. The ascetic monks are not bothered very much by the small rise in tourism.

    3) Restoration and expansion of the Garden of Heroes (2/2)

    Although the familiar location for free knights, it can be said that the necessary work has reinvigorated the spirit and atmosphere. The smell of beautiful flowers always accompanies the memories and ideals of the high achievements.

    A request is received from the Telek'kra that the Great Lich of Kelof'Zarin Gosada has attacked with undead servants! This surprising situation is a great concern. Of course the council cannot approve the request by a neighbor. For the Chivalric Republic of the United Free Cities who have not fought a war for 100 years, it is a difficult request. Even though Steward Ilex of Neu argues against this, the councils decision is majority to decline.
    Therefore Steward Ilex of Neu has to make the difficult decision. Deeply thinking about the problem in the Garden of Heroes, she could be seen regarding the statues of her predecessors.

    This is where her squire, Arisa of Uran, found her on her way home from school.
    "Lady Ilex, you look very troubled!" She announced with a worried expression. Ilex glanced and made a small smile to Arisa.
    "It is a difficult decision. I am thinking about the situation of the war of Telek'kra. Although the council does not wish to interfere, the situation is troubling for me."
    "It is the situation about the undead? Isn't it very unusual!" Arisa asked. Ilex made the affirmation.
    "Although we have the trouble of Kemuliaan always to cause trouble with Sphynks in Bastet, but this seems different. Even Kemuliaan doesn't murder everyone as they please. If it is true, then despite the worn condition of our neighbors relationship, we should take the opportunity to assist." Ilex said.
    "But it means a war, which we have not fought for one hundred years!" Arisa protested. Ilex put a hand on her shoulder
    "Do you feel your heart burning?" She softly asked. Arisa nodded with clenched hands.
    "I want to help!" The squire protested. "But I don't know if it is right. It's like the hospitalers, they are always traveling to foreign countries to help people, too. But it must be lonely, and they must be homesick. If it's war, it's different than monster slaying or jousting, isn't it?" She asked. "I don't know the correct answer!" She sighed with shame. Ilex nodded.
    "You are very compassionate to understand the hearts and troubles. That flame in your heart is the important piece you never lose. It's the same flame that is consuming me." She looked up at the statues.
    "Our ancestors fought with courage and hope to bring our era of peace. They never abandoned those strong feelings even in the darkness and the rain. That is the meaning of being a free knight, isn't it so? We fight to protect the innocent from suffering in war." Ilex explained. She looked up at the statue of Commelina.
    "If she was here, I think Lady Commelina would argue that we should oppose evil with courage." Ilex said. "Should we become involved in a foreign war because of this? Maybe if it was a situation where negotiation could solve the trouble, it isn't necessary. There is no reason to become involved in a foolish war. However, this situation is different." She turned to look seriously at Arisa.
    "If it is something that must be done, then it must be done. If we do not confront problems, they will continue until the stars fall and the sky breaks. Even if we do not rise, destiny will still come." Arisa looked up with pain in her eyes.
    "Lady Ilex, I want to go, too. But it hurts!" Ilex understandingly smiled.
    "That's the spark in your heart becoming a flame. It will carry you through every difficult grief and decision."
    She turned to the statue again to make a silent promise to Commelina.
    In that moment Arisa saw the silhouette of Ilex's face and thought already she was so far away.


    In this way, the next council meeting Ilex makes the radical decision that shocks the council except for the mysterious Sphynks delegation.
    "Maybe it is radical, but I do not think it is different than our chivalric cause. If the council will not agree, then as the Steward of the Chivalric Republic of the United Free Cities, I will obey.
    However, as the Grandmaster of the Order of Free Knights, I will bring the free knights to fight this battle. I cannot ask the free cities to sacrifice their children to this foreign war. But we are free knights! We will make our own decision regardless of the council. I do not think this threat can be avoided."


    The stunned council cannot but pray and hope for the victory of Free Knights. Many delegation members are ashamed and embarrassed by their decision. However, their duty is to protect their cities.

    Ilex was approached by the Sphynks delegation afterward.
    "The Sphynks of Ekbatana will support your suppression mission." The sphynks said with a flicking ear and coy smile.
    "Thank you for your offer. However, I cannot ask your support in an issue that is not involved of the Sphynks of Inyannya." Is the polite reply of Ilex. The sphynks delegate shook her head and explained.
    "The Kemuliaan bandits are raiding our borders again. We greatly dislike these undead types, especially the ones who enslave and oppress Sphynks. Therefore we will provide support in the suppression of this undead army. Perhaps it will be the warning to persuade the so-called pharaoh to cease his assaults on our people." Is the knife-like declaration of support.
    Ilex nodded and made the handshake.
    "Thank you. Let's do our best." The sphynks laughed with toothy grin.
    "Of course you will be victorious, Grandmaster. It's already an ordained message. Pray to your goddess of chivalry, but Inyannya will watch gleefully as well."

    "Don't think you can quickly shoulder the responsibility yourself, Ilex!" The familiar reproachful voice caused Ilex to turn around. The crossed arms and smug annoyed expression was of course Melanthia of Rubia wearing the hospitaler uniform.
    "Melanthia! What are you doing here?" Ilex asked with surprised expression.
    "Long time, no see is the better greeting." Melanthia smiled and embraced her friend. "Besides, you didn't think there were hospitalers who are not free knights, didn't you?"
    "I can't ask you to leave the hospitalers to help me." Ilex tried to protest.
    "Who said to leave the hospitalers? We support those who are need, isn't it so?" Melanthia interrupted. Right now, I think my friend and the free knights are in need of help. Therefore it is twice duty of us to help, isn't that so! Don't forget, Euco and Passiflora were Free Knights, too. I am sure they would approve of your audacity."
    Ilex looked shocked, however a grateful smile appeared. She embraced the hospitaler and the sphynks delegate.
    "Thank you. It will not be easy, but let's go together with our best spirit!"

    Grandmaster Ilex of Neu stood in front of assembly of Free Knights and trainees, and the Sphynks executors who stood silently in the storm as the armies stood facing each other. Although the rain heavily fell, the wet hair and appearance of Ilex was appropriate, and the native of Neu did not seem concerned. Even the Sphynks executors, who can be said to hate becoming wet, wear steel smiles and dangerous eyes.
    Regarding the young and veterans, Ilex gave her speech.
    "I am becoming old, like many of our generation, my spirit will burn itself up in this battle ahead. However, I pray that the young people of our land can continue to serve nobly and brightly with their chivalric spirit. After war there is peace. After the storm there is sun. After life there is death.
    It is the tragic nature that we cannot live forever, so we must make as many achievements as we can now. For those who's true path is chivalry and the proper spirit of a free knight, it is necessary for us to continue on with proper spirit.
    Although we will go to fight against undead, let's remember strongly that we are properly the defenders of life. Thunder and Death does not scare us! We will rise above these trivial things! The poems and legends of our history will always record and remember our valiant and chivalric way.

    Friends, it is my honor and joy to fight together with you today!"

    She touched her chest and the resplendent armor, gleaming with beautiful colors and aura, appeared to embrace her. She raised her sword as the free knights did, too.

    "Forward!
    Cut through hesitation and the foes who stand before us!"
    She commanded with the gleaming sword.

    Summer Floods: The rainy season is always uncooperative. Fernbrake monsters reappeared, however the new youth Round Table knights with their Resplendent Brilliant Armor can heroically handle this situation.

    School Days: Changing of education system means many civilians eagerly attend new required public schools. Former Free Knight trainees must adopt new universal public school uniform and attend classes with civilians. However, extracurricular Round Table events and new mentor program has reignited the heroic spark!

    War of the Free Knights: Grandmaster Ilex and the Free Knights volunteer to go to war against The Great Lich of Kelof'Zarin Gosada of Telek'kra. Even some trainees and round table knights volunteer to assist. Other classmates glance secretly at the empty seats of their classmates and silently hope for safe return.

    The Era of New Covenant of Sphynks and Inyannya: Inyannya's cleansing of sin of the Sphynks and return of the Sphynks to the side of their goddess is the beginning of the new era! Sphynks are insufferably proud and excited. There are many celebrations and happy events as Sphynks return to Ekbatana.

    The following treaty concerns the future government, economic situation and divine guidance of the regions known as Hrathan and Tuor (hereafter referred to as “the regions”), as discussed by their guardians in Cephalo’Di, and their comrades of the Salterri Imperium as represented by the Silver Throne (hereafter referred to as “the Imperium”).

    On Government
    Cephalo’Di shall ensure the instatement of the noble House of Li-Ethmorl and their rightful rule of the regions.
    In return, the Imperium recognizes the regions to be rightfully part of Cephalo’Di, and by extension their liege in Praeclarus.

    On Economy
    The Salterri Imperium shall attain the rights to two trade posts in the regions, transporting resources of their choosing.
    In return, Cephalo’Di shall attain the rights to two trade posts in the regions of Shengdi and Penoccident, transporting resources of their choosing.
    The Imperium shall negotiate trade with Praeclarus with regards to the trade posts in Cerebra and Squalus Abbysi.

    On Divine Guidance
    As their church leader has abandoned them in their time of need, it is time the people returned from having strayed and be embraced by the Lord again, as they were in the olden days. Cephalo’Di pledges to not interfere with missionaries spreading the word of the Lord of Fire, be they from Holy Calorum, the great temples of the Imperium, or the Highest of the High, the Blazing Temple.

    On Defense
    While this treaty remains unbroken, the Imperium pledges to defend the regions from hostile invaders.
    While this treaty remains unbroken, Cephalo'Di pledges its aquatic troops in service of the Imperium, but only in the case of the Imperium being at war with a fully or partially aquatic nation, unless this goes against treaties established in years previous to 561.

    As signed in the Year of the Lord 561, the Year of the Lady 1111, so do we pledge:
