I only say the first because I don't have any tulips in my garden, and thus can't be harmed by it; the second, because I noticed after a while that it was the story of my life. Those are my two originals; the following two were stolen from other people, namely, my art teacher and my friend Shaena:

OK, maybe those don't count as mottos--but the last two are darn clever I don't generally go for profound quotes...funny is much better. Unless it's a "squashing moment", and then I can't look at anything funny, I just want to go to sleep for 12 hours and wake up happy.
