What IS it with people automatically seeking out the pairing between the two people most after each others' blood and proclaiming it an OTP? I'd say the same for Snarry if it were a later concept than it is, but still, there is a small, fervent faction devoted to Neville/Bella.

This is my favorite quote on these forums, ever. I will give a qualfier to all the Miko/Belkar fans- Miko and Belkar are a lot alike in the regard that they live to kill. There are more similarities between two psycho murderers than between, say, Neville/Bella- which is the most horrific thing I've ever heard, incidentally- as it's a case of characters with clashing alignments rather than clashing.... well, everything.

Speaking as someone who has made Belkar/Miko art, I have to say that I don't honestly think that it'll actually happen ever, but it's still fun to a) make fanart, and b) force people to purchase brain bleach. I really don't think that many people really believe that this is the direction The Giant is going.

I totally see it!

I mean, Belkar has the whole hate or lust thing. Now, Belkar loves murder and bad reasons to apply undeserved punishment and well, Miko bends that way too. I think the line between Belkar lusting after Miko is very thin. Nothing says they have to love each other. Love and lust are two different things.

I think it would be a great pairing full of laughs (for us X-D)

And in my case at least, it's not so much a desire to see the pairing actually happen in canon, so much as it is to explore the amusing/horrifically-wrong possibility, and make other people need to dip their brains in acid.

When it comes to Miko and Belkar, I can just imagine a scene with them in a closed room, andwe just see the closed door, but the next panel we hear a gasp, then after that miko says "By the gods! No wonder the rest of you is so stunted!"

Conflicting thoughts -

First thought - No. A million tiomes no. Completely out of character for both of them.

Counter thought - Possible if three facts become true.
One - Belkar puts enough attribute points (we don't know if he has ever updated his attributes with the 1 pt/4levels) to Wisdom to stop being CE.
Two - Belkar is VERY generous with Treasure Type O.
Three - A lack of Treasure Type O is a massive part of Miko's problem.

In which case it becomes possible, if disturbing. Very very disturbing.
