"She went to her mother's room. Zefir, do try not to overly upset her, her resources are extremely valuable for us in this organization."

Meanwhile, the henchman shakes his head at why the ac seems to be working again.

Filii frowns at her abrupt exit.
Someone should try to calm her down, but I don't see any of us being in a good position to do that. Except maybe you, Mr E, but I know next to nothing about you. Also, what are we going to do about the whole leadership problem?

This elven lady enters the base:



She has a smile on her face, and skips inside as she looks around.

"Hi! A random family I killed mentioned this place, so I thought I'd check it out. Can I join?"

"Hey, you just can't come in here!" A henchman steps towards the elven lady, then hears what she said.

"But, it does sound like you would fit in. Um, let's see, joining forms on the left, first table I think. Also someone is in trouble for leaving the front door unlocked."

[Cyber Punk]

[Entrance]

The girl curtsies at the henchman. "Thank you!" She heads for the forms, then stops when the henchman mentions someone being in trouble. "I can help you with them. Have some fun." She giggles.

She gives the Henchman the forms, hopping happily.

The henchman takes the form and puts it into a slot, where it is set away for review.

"Well, the majority of the members are in a meeting right now, so you could go and report to them. From what I hear, they are feeling a bit more open-hearted towards folks."

The girl nods. "Okay! Where are they?" She's happy to be able to meet people like her.

She'll follow the henchman where they need to go.

"Somewhere in here. The place shifts about, things are usually in certain spots, but they don't stay that way all the time."

Down the hallway, past the main room with the couch, tables and TV, and through more halls the henchman walks. Up some stairs and down a ramp.

"Sorry, it seems a bit farther than usual today."

[Cyber Punk]

"Ooh, that's interesting!" She looks around, ooh-ing and aah-ing a bit as they walk.

"Well, you did say it moves around! Teehee!" Then she attempts to make conversation. "Do you like paaaaain?" She licks her lips as she says this.

"Not really. I'm not big on getting hurt. But the thing does."

Orange looks at the walls, hoping that the horror of AMEN isn't listening right now. The cloning tanks haven't been fixed yet, and he doesn't want to suffer.

Rochelle shakes her head. "That's a shame. Getting hurt can be fun! Want me to show you?" She stretches, seemingly in preparation for something. "And what thing does?"

Well, that's usual for members, inflecting pain upon the henchmen.

"Please no. And its the Thing in the Walls, what it does is almost anything it wants. It lurks in the walls, a horror from beyond reality, which makes its the strongest member of AMEN."

[Cyber Punk]

"Ooh! I like the Thing in the Walls already!" The elven lady squeals, then draws out a knife from her backpack and starts poking the henchman with it. "Let me at least maim you a bit. Pretty pleeeease!?" She traces the knife around his back.

Lets see, there is some medical help, and someone like this will go for inflecting pain on him one way or another.

"I would prefer that you didn't, but if you must. Just, be careful, I need to still be alive afterwards."

I really doubt you'll be able too. So new girl, eyes bigger than her head yes?

Just because it doesn't open eyes, doesn't mean that a mouth or two or thousand open up around.

Rochelle squeals in happiness. "There's a good man!" Then she jams the knife in his right shoulderblade and begins to twist it while making cooing noises. "Hmm, that's so nice. Would you be so kind as to make a little more noise?" Her voice is getting more sultry.

Oh pain, you are no fun. And oh great, it was listening, mouths everywhere!

She twists and twists, enjoying the sound of his gruntings. "Pain is such an aphrodisiac. When I get a room, I'll call on you often. You'll learn to look forward to the touch of my weapons on your innards."

Then she turns to whoever is addressing her. "Heeheeheehee! My eyes are smaller than my head!"

Zefir stands up.
"Don't worry E. I'm aware of AMEN's needs, but that doesn't leave me blind."
As he pass Filii he says.
"Don't worry, she is mad like a kid for not getting what she wants. I know what to do now."
And to the thing he adds.
"Power doesn't make you a leader. We alreads got powerfull people on top and they failed. Now's the time for a change."
With that he heads for Clarissas room. He will most likly be gone befor Rochelle arrives.

Thank goodness for the fact that its hard to henchmen apart and they have different tasks.

Without any care for the henchman's wellbeing, Rochelle rips out the knife carelessly, then sniffs the blood. "Mmmm."

She kicks the back of the henchman's knees. "It's not polite to delay a guest, so move it, please. Thank you."

Then she'll begin trying to make some artwork on the henchman's back.

Outside

A dark black cloud is coalescing in the air not far from the entrance to AMEN. It is not a very large cloud, and stops growing when it reaches the size of a four-door car five metres above the ground. With a thunderous crack, a bolt of bright green lightning arcs down beneath the cloud. Where it hits the ground, a figure stands. He's tall, with pale skin, matt black hair and bright red eyes. He's wearing a black business man's suit, tailored to fit. It's also very battered, covered in rips, tears, bloodstains, and worse. He's carrying an ornate, three-barrelled shotgun, with one barrel slung beneath the other two. The weapon is made of brass and mahogany, polished to shine. He's looking for immediate threats as the cloud above him dissipates into nothingness.

As the cloud gets smaller and disappears, it leaves behind an angelic figure, with snow-white feathered wings and shoulder-length hair. The figure is small, appearing as an androgynous child aged approximately eight years old, and it is clad in a black toga with gold embroidery around the edges. The angel's eyes are pure white, with no differentiation between sclera, iris and pupil, and contain nothing recognisable as human, though any meeting its gaze will see the nigh-bottomless well of cruelty concealed by its innocent appearance.

Nephrim and Dam'Bul have returned to the Nexus, and to AMEN.

The henchman goes down, and has more pain inflected on him.

Entrance

Well, the man manning the security cameras knows who that par is. A press of a button, and the front door is open for the demonic pair.

"Hey! Don't go down, make with the walky-walky!" She drags the henchman to his feet and prods him to keep walking. "To the other peoples!"

Filii looks at Mr E.
What now? It seems Zefir has things under control with Nicole. Or he at least thinks he does.

Entranceway

The demonic duo enter first, Dam'Bul leading the way with his triple-barrelled shotgun and alert to danger. Unlike her servant, Nephrim seems relaxed and calm as she walks into the base on her bare feet.

Mr E isn't physically present in the room, he's been communicating through speakers, but oh well.

"Now? We let him handle that, and say hello to new and returning members."

Hallways

The henchman pulled up to his feet, face twisted in pain.

"Alright, just please stop stabbing me."

Entrance

Nothing threatens the duo in the entrance, a clear path awaits them to the main room of the base, where a henchman is doing some dusting of the TV.

First time they entered the base, Gordon dropped them down a hole. Even though Dam'Bul was doing his gravity thing and standing on the ceiling.

So they're still cautious.

((I thought there was some sort of computer or something there to look at, but oh well.))

Filii looks towards the door expectantly upon hearing about other members. This means two things.
1) More people, yay.
2) He is no longer lowest on the totem pole. Close, but not quite.
More members. That's good. Anything I should know about any of them before they get here?
