Yeah, I have a weird condition where I can't access steam at all when playing civ 5. Don't know why.

In that case try using the prt sc button and pasting into paint.

If that still doesn't work, run Civ V in window mode rather than full mode before print screening. Print screen gives me only darkness if I use it when I'm running Civ V in full screen mode.

I'm having an issue with the save file; GMR keeps giving me the save file for last turn, both when I use the desktop client and when I download the save manually from the website.

Try reverting the turn to Silver, would be my best guess

If you follow the "GMR trail" (check their profiles via GMR and follow the link to their Steam account) you should be able to find everyone, unless they have super-obfuscated secret accounts.

I did follow the GMR trail and found most of them. But a couple when I type in their usernames on steam add a friend, it comes up as "Username doesn't exist."

I guess you can say I'm being a retarded idiot, or I could possibly be having legitimate problems perhaps? I did click on his steam profile to request a friend and it was giving me a weird error. So I decided to just copy the steam name on the profile link and try to find it through steam itself, and that came up empty.

And techwarior is the name I literally copy and pasted into my post based on where GMR sent me when clicking on your profile, so obviously SOMETHING is screwed up here! And I pretty sure its not my inferior human intelligence.
