Spoiler: To Russia
The only decent spot we know of, is straight west as the ocean goes.
You'll have to go up and around though.
And it'll probably piss off the Zulu.

Re: Civ 5: GMR 8 - A Beyond Earth Prequel (G&K, BNW)
I am here for a request. After multiple, multiple, multiple, and even multiple of multiple attempts to take my turn, I have concluded that the internet where I'm currently at on my family vacation is too poor to allow me to download the save file to take my turn. I know that I should have internet connection within the next few days when we move to more populated areas, but right now, I can not make my move. Given I have 2 settlers designed for very specific spots in a critical role that I'm greatly afraid the computer will completely screw up, I would like to ask if the turn timer could, temporarily, be disabled until I can make my turn. Apologies in advance for an inconvenience my request would make, but I don't want a long thought over planned screwed up by a couple days lack of decent internet connection.

Re: Civ 5: GMR 8 - A Beyond Earth Prequel (G&K, BNW)
Please disregard my request. On a whim, I decided to try just 1 more time, and this time it actually went through and I made my turn. Now, it took 20 minutes for the save file to download, but otherwise I managed to successfully take my turn. Crisis averted.
Also, to Poland:

Sorry guys. If I could make a request and revert the last 2 turns to my turn, that would help greatly. The computer did screw up my plans entirely. Although, now I am home with full wifi so the turns will flow smoothly now. Will that be okay with everyone?

Re: Civ 5: GMR 8 - A Beyond Earth Prequel (G&K, BNW)
I had 2 settlers that were getting into or waiting for the perfect time to found cities with. Its used both of them to put them in wrong spots for cities and put me into mid negative unhappiness at a time that I desperately did not need a penalty to my production. I had planned to have the settlers used in conjunction with several buildings finishing simultaneously in the same turn for greater effect. I apologize for asking this. I thought I would have wifi on the second half of my vacation, but I didn't due to them charging an outrageously high price of $8.00 a minute to use their wifi.

And the host is on vacation for three weeks. Which means we either need to contact him and get him to revert.
Or wait for three weeks.
Or Silverraptor doesn't get his revert.
