Ah, but wouldn't certain types of clock be exotic equipment, then, while most types could still be wound without difficulty?

I wouldn't think so. Clocks have different winding mechanisms, different winding schedules, and different responses to inadequate winding or excessive winding force. Some clocks use springs; some use weights on pulleys which need to be raised; others use flowing water. Some clocks can be wound while operating; others require you to stop the clock to wind it safely. Many require a special winding key. Water clocks are dependent on unvarying viscosity, so you need to (1) know when to discard the "winding" water and replace it, and (2) regulate the water temperature to that which is required for the particular clock. Some clocks have multiple pendulums, and all pendulums require proper leveling to keep time, so you must avoid bumping or tilting the mechanisms while winding. Sundials are generally maintenance-free, but accurate time is dependent on precise installation.

Every clock is a much more complicated device than any exotic weapon.

    A 134 Mentally, yes.
With age, a character’s physical ability scores decrease and his or her mental ability scores increase (see Table: Aging Effects). The effects of each aging step are cumulative. However, none of a character’s ability scores can be reduced below 1 in this way.

A138: That's easy - it's 30. That's the largest possible number of spells in a Book of Infinite Spells. The smallest infinity being, of course, 23. Which, interestingly, implies that a high-level wizard knows more than infinite spells.

Creatures are considered to have the extraplanar subtype when on a plane they are not native to. A plane on which said creature does not have the extraplanar subtype could then be called "home."

Three, of course. That's the first and only digit.

    From Rounding Fractions:
In general, if you wind up with a fraction, round down, even if the fraction is one-half or larger.

    A 141 Yes.

    From Player's Handbook, page 37:
Characteristics: Of all classes, fighters have the best all-around fighting capabilities (hence the name).
From the online article Dead Levels:
    MONK

The monk is the only other core class, aside from the barbarian, that has no dead levels. Players always have something to look forward to with the monk, which boasts the most colorful and unique special abilities of all the character classes.
Of course, to properly answer this question requires citing 90% of all of D&D, which copyright law (if nothing else) prohibits. Consider this partial answer a starting point for the student.

    Re Q141
What I was more curious about is whether or not using a d20 to assume success or failure most often results in a statistical distribution that reveals 90% of everything being a failure. Some factors to consider are auto successes on rolls of 20, automatic failures on rolls of 1, and neither of those factors effecting skill checks...

    Re Q140
    Never mind...

    Re Me Q 141
But the existence of tons of garbage abilities and wrong-minded design is just one of those things about reality that are just assumed to be in the rules like other facts of nature.

A143: A woodchuck as a typically Tiny animal, reaching no more than 26 inches in length, if comparable to a weasel or rat, which has a single attack per round, it could instead attempt to throw, or "chuck" a peice of wood as an improved weapon.
With a strength score no greater than 3, it has a light load of 5lbs, upto a heavy load of 15lbs which it can attempt to throw with a total -8 penalty.
So, a woodchuck could chuck 5-15lbs of wood every 6 seconds. 10-30lbs if hasted.
