Streets of the Town XVII

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey sighs and drags the deranged man away from the ill smelling fountain.

"Something normal would be nice right about now..."

[Castaras]

Two young NPC lovers walk down the streets, talking quietly. They head into their home and close the door behind them.

(( What? You wanted something normal. ))

[Nevrmore]

A Crap Demon, you know, like that one from Dogma, emerges from the disgusting sludge and begins terrorizing NPCs.

[NecroPaladin]

Magical signboards pop up all over the town, text posted with a sickening red color. Some of them even pop out of walls, roofs and cielings, erratically giving visibility to all.

They read,

SUPPORT NEEDED for the KILLING of the NOT-ABLE-to-VOTE ENDING SOLUTION (K.N.A.V.E.S) PARTY!

NON-VOTERS ARE A DISEASE. THEY ARE THOSE WHO ENTER THIS TOWN WITHOUT EVEN CONSIDERING THE CONSEQUENCES THAT COULD BE CAUSED BY NOT VOTING FOR THEIR LEADERS. WHAT IF MAPH'TEY BECAME MAYOR? DO YOU WANT RUIN IN A POSITION OF POWER? WE THINK NOT. THE NON-VOTERS MUST BE DESTROYED.

Eric slips away not seeing the person he wants to see and heads back to his apartment.

[Nevrmore]

The Crap Demon absorbs all the fecal matter from the sewage overfloweth and grows to 50 feet tall, destroying cottages and carriages in his wake.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey slowly runs his hand down his face. He then casts Crap to Stone on the demon.

What? That's totally a real spell!

[Nevrmore]

The Crap Demon, who is attuned to people trying to do things to fecal matter, turns around and swipes a huge, disgusting fist at Maph'tey.

[Rebonack]

"Oh shi-"

Maph'tey quickly sweeps the transparent hemisphere he had made earlier in front of himself, the barrier absorbing most of the pulpy impact. The Traveler is, however, sent tumbling backwards through all the nasty smelling sewage on the streets.

[Deadly]

Deadly runs up and writes on one of the posters "Vote! Or the Muffin will place a mark of shame upon your forehead! All will know your treachery! The Muffin Rules All!!!"

[Nevrmore]

The Crap Demon swipes his giant hand into the murky water, sending a large wave towards Maph'tey.

[NecroPaladin]

((Making K.N.A.V.E.S headquarters now. If I'm lucky, I can make this into a major antagonist!))

[Deadly]

A small black wolf runs into the streets from the woods and turns into Aeri. She grins and turns around, waiting for Nazgul.

[Obsidian Blade]

Sia walks down the street and into Trog's, a man and a woman following her warily. They make no sound as they enter the tavern.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey right wing warps into the familiar shape of Ruin, who holds an open hand out at the encroaching wave.

"Ice Nine."

An audible crack is heard as a series of jagged ice crystals burst forth from the streets, instantly crystallizing the water upon contact. They tare through the poo-nami, reducing it to a massive mound of root-beer float colored slush as they continue on their way toward the demon.

[McBish]

Eric tries to catch her attention as she leaves the slums and enters the streets.

[Nevrmore]

((The Cat's in the Cradle!))

The Fecal Demon roars and begins shooting "missiles" at Maph'tey as he approaches.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul runs out of the woods and changes into himself again. He smiles at Aeri.

[Deadly]

Aeri smiles back and takes his arm

[Nevrmore]

((These people have the mental fortitude of several brick walls to just totally ignore a 50 foot golem composed of crap fighting a demigod in the streets.))

[Castaras]

Tasha and Matt head for the police station, ignoring the crap golem.

[McBish]

Eric curses a bit as Sai doesn't see or hear him. He heads back to the apartments.

[Kyrian]

((Or they don't care/don't want to deal with it))

Nazgul smiles and leads her over towards the SMBR.

[Rebonack]

Refuge now takes action, summoning forth a massive tower shield which takes the full brunt of the filthy projectiles. He then heaves it off to one side and sweeps it toward the monster, causing it to take on the form of a massive blade coursing with the pure power of the continuum.

Maph'tey motions toward the space around the demon, causing it to erupt in a storm of dimensional sheer.

Ruin, just because he likes doing so, attempts to set the crap beast on fire.

((The demon has obviously been enveloped in a Somebody Else's Problem field.))

[Deadly]

Aeri leans a bit closer to him as they walk.

[Kyrian]

Nazgul kisses the top of her head as they reach the restaurant, and holds the door open for her.

[Nevrmore]

The Fecal Demon begins to waver as all the attacks connect, slowly shrinking as more and more of his disgusting juices evaporate. He jumps back, causing a low rumble around the streets when he lands, and lifts his hands into the air. Excess "mud", as it were, forms around his arms and becomes a sword and a mace, respectively, which he attacks Maph'tey with.

[Deadly]

Aeri bows slightly and walks inside

[Rebonack]

"You have got to be kidding."

Refuge once again brings his shield to bear, the end result being Maph'tey getting driven flat against the ground, completely engulfed in the nasty creature's bulk.

[Nevrmore]

The mace melts back into a hand, which the demon tries to grab Maph'tey with and pull him out of the muck.
