Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hi forum, long time OOTS fan, occasional lurker, new forum member. Interesting and active forums are kinda rare I think. I'm also interested in the idea of some kind of play by post game. Anyway that's that, nice to meet you all.

Awesome! Welcome aboard!
*tour guide's voice* Well, Play by Post is there right down those stairs, but you'll probably want to check out the rest of the Boards to see the wild Forumites in their natural habitats. Fascinating, especially by how they react to the Giant who wanders amongst them. The stars predict tomorrow you'll wake up, do a bunch of stuff, and then go back to sleep.~ That's your horoscope for today.

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Haaaiiiii.
Names werjakcleric. Named after my first D&D (3.5) character, who was a cleric. Named werjak.
A dwarf cleric of Moradin who was also a shipwright and sailor.
And hollowed out a mountain into a temple-city. Fun times.
Been lurking for a while, decided to speak up in the wake of the newest comic.
Also: whhhheeeeeeeeeeee Imma pixieeeeeeeeeee!!!

Hello All,
My name is Redlaserpanda, but you can call me red. I stumbled upon this site while looking for information about playtesting for the tabletop roleplaying game that I am working on. I am always willing to talk if you have anything you are wanting to know about me. I will see you all around.

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
I've played lots and lots of D20 for years, and love Role Playing Games, been on this forum a couple times to check out builds but finally decided to join when I was building my first Mesmerist and decided to try and pitch in some equipment knowledge to the guide.
I'm currently DMing a homebrew setting, playing in another, and probably joining another campaign. I'm a college student, so my time is... well, frankly, I never know when I can or can't be on anything, but I love talking about RPGs and stories. I've played most classes at least a few times, but I have a major focus on dedicated arcane casters historically, although now that Paizo released Occult Adventures, I might end up doing just as much psychic casters.
Happy to see you all and have an active discussion forum for one of the greatest hobbies in the world!

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hey folks! I've been a fan since the beginning, and the board game iteration has been a favorite of mine for years. I think I may have had an account at some point, but I've always been more of a lurker. I finally decided that I wanted to chime in on Uninterrupted Torment's discussion, so here I am!
I'm a statistics tutor, competitive Smash Bros. player, baritone opera singer, and a big ol' queer. In D&D, I tend to prefer support type roles like bard and wizard, but I can find a way to enjoy most any class. I DM sometimes too; in fact I've been writing a campaign set in my favorite fantasy setting (Vana'diel from Final Fantasy XI) for years now. Maybe someday my friends will actually be able to get together often enough to play it. :P
Anyway, I'll probably still mooostly lurk, but I'm looking forward to actually interacting with people here occasionally.

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hi folks! :D
Been reading OotS for quite awhile, and didn't even think to go looking for forums until quite recently. The strip that prompted me to check this place out was actually #996, because I realized I just HAD to see what others' opinions were about the possible outcomes from that strip were (trying not to spoil for those who haven't read it yet ;) ).
I'm an extremely active member on two other forums, so I won't have the time to be around here much, but I will at least pop in occasionally to read the fan reactions to the new strips. :)
Huzzah!

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hello, decided to make an account here after a few months reading the forums.
I have only just started reading OotS; I came to the forums first as they come up often in searches regarding guides and discussion regarding D&D. I've certainly heard of OotS before this, but just never came around to reading until now.
Also this is functioning as a test because I am having some disagreements with my avatar settings.

Hey!
Long time lurker, finally contributing.
I DM (3.5) in a group in vienna and am currently trying to string together the old sunless citadel adventure path. I have played 3.5 before, but that was 10 years ago.

Hello! I too am a long-time lurker and have had a long habit of coming directly to the Forum after each update (and returning often to get my OOTS fix between updates. ) The escalating drama (and ensuing conversations on the forums) of recent weeks have finally propelled me into registering, so here I am!

Hi All,
My name is Rattigan and I....am a lurker.
But not any more, as I have decided that it's time to start posting, rather than searching for forum posts that are kindasorta what I'm after.
I'm interested in D&D 3.5, D&D 5e, Exalted and Shadowrun.
Be gentle with me Playground....Last edited by Rattigan; 2015-09-30 at 10:53 AM. Reason: mild grammar nazi, don't mind me...

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
I am not new. I joined the forum and played around here before Facebook was commonly used. I found Oots when Buzz comics was a popular place to get a comic popular and decided to see which comic was at the top. My husband I played DnD regularly back then so this was instantly an interesting website for us. I eagerly voted Oots number 1 so we could see the extra joke Rich came up with on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and he promised us that he would make a book out of his comic someday. I have LOVED seeing his progression of turning a fun hobby into a passionate career. It is like watching a dream come true story in real time. I just read the update that Rich is close to wrapping up his story line. I am excited to see how it finishes and I might see how the forum has evolved since I left.
Anyhow, since it has been about 6 or so years since I have posted here I figured I would pop in and say hi here first.Look behind you!
SpoilerMade you look

Hello,
I'm joining up to discuss the latest in OOTS. I've been reading OOTS for some years now (since the battle at Azure City was still being written). I'm a big fan and look forward to getting to know those I get to know. How involved I will be here is uncertain.
Regards,

Hey there,
I'm a fan of the comic for years, but just now decided to join in the forums.
Also, a D&D player that quite recently started again after a 10-year brake.
Loving 5e, bards rule etc etc.
Good to be here.Last edited by Enendill; 2015-10-01 at 11:45 AM.
