Whilst your here, do you know if you could help me with something?

I tried to use an avatar of mine from elsewhere for the forum, but it proved to be too big. So I resized it and I'm trying to use it. However, it keeps telling me that I'm not entering the correct format. Which doesn't make any sense, it says the link must start with http - which it does - and end in .gif, .jpg or .png - and it ends in .png. So why wouldn't it work?

Hello. I want to introduce myself here. I have been a lurker on giant in the playground for about half a year now. I found this site looking for web comics and really liked OOTS. I enjoy video games and want to get into tabletop roleplaying but have very little experience in that.

I have been here lurking around for just over a year, about the time I started playing 3.5 and discovered the amazing OOTS comic. I have had a lot of good laughs here, and also learned a lot from reading handbooks, opinions and the occasional in session game. I am just about to undertake my first game as the DM and I have chosen to unleash my friends on The Red Hand of Doom.
Glad that this site is available and you may find me asking some questions about that particular quest although I have found lots of useful information related to that module already.
