Even if it is just capitalist marketing, it's nice that the capitalists think that queers are an important enough demographic to target. Being acknowledged (even by capitalists ) is nice when nobody's ever acknowledged you before.

Grrrr, so a city in Belgium had a week long festival recently. And from some people that I know in that town there was a lot of homophobic harassment happening, and apparently a lot of it in the LGBT building that was open for the event, like go specifically harass people in an LGBT space, yuck. :C

Im sorry you're not feeling well; I can't really offer anything approaching above about your mental health issues (dysphoria and anxiety are the only two i really have, and both are pretty much gone now), but I offer my sympathies, and I will let you know that my thoughts go with you.

Have you been able to see a therapist while you're traveling? That seems like the best first step. Also, do you have any idea what caused your hallucinations to go away in the first place? Figuring that out and trying to repeat it might help, maybe...

No, I haven't been able to get counseling here. But when I come back, I will push for that.

Also, with basically two weeks to go before my surgery, do you have any advice or things to watch out for? As mentioned before, I've got quite a tangle of emotions happening.

I know how you feel. I don't keep an adequate supply of razors, am too lazy to shave anyway, and have at least 120 excess pounds on my frame. Not to mention I have a fair amount of body hair.

I used to live in Montana, and people would always ask me that when I told them where I was from. I've never heard that song. I do in fact know the way to San Jose, though. I'm a Geography major at my university. It would be extremely sad if I couldn't find my own hometown on a map.
