In a threesome, both people are present to observe and 'supervise' the activity. They're sharing the experience and, third person aside, are both together.

This comic, however, implies that they want to date Gary separately. As open as a threesome might be, I would think it would take a lot more trust to let your S.O. engage in intimate situation with another person without "supervision". Assuming that they are still S.O.s, that it.

Gary, you've got three options.

1. Choose him. Probably not the best choice, seeing as you're not actually gay or bi. I recommend against it.

2. Choose her. A better choice, definitely, since she's pretty good looking and the sex would probably be good. But as previous experience with her and option 1 proves, a bit too much of a mess personally for you to want to be around for too long.

3. Choose neither. I mean, they have basically treated you like a sex toy rather than a person, so it's probably best to just cut them both loose.

It's much more enjoyable once you "realize" it's happening in Warhammer 40k settings and that DD is a Genestealer and that Zii is a Slaaneshi cultist.

Well, it makes sense- it's less a callback to Amber than to the 'blowjob' Gary gave James that led to James's mild obsession with him. I assume this is going to be Gary letting James down as easily as possible before going after...

I mean that's what they said but I'd be surprised if they did it at all. It had barely any readership, which isn't really a shock given that they took a tertiary character of middling popularity with only a handful of appearances from the main strip and then based the comic around her previously-unseen sister.
