I was reminded of some things I should confess to. I like all Indiana Jones movies, yes, even those two. I liked the Star Wars prequels. I've never been able to finish watching The Princess Bride, no, not even the Buttercup edition. Yeah, I know, I lose major geek points for these admissions.

Your statement got curious, so I hit up google. It is not possible to never fart. However, you may be a person with a very relaxed sphincter, in which case you will "leak" gas throughout the day and never have farts that make noise. But to never fart is an impossibility in humans.

Just to let you know. I'm actually part cat. Since cats don't pass gas at all. That's the reason why I never pass gas in my entire lifetime.

I thought of a confession: as a kid, I watched The Princess Bride, The Sound of Music, and a chick flick called Tortilla Soup.

I hated them then, hate them now, and can't stand any various versions such as books, theatre productions, or their movie renditions to this day.

I've also read the whole of My Immortal, and I've also checked out a couple of other pieces of media I knew or at least strongly suspected were going to be awful before I started.

That said, maybe that doesn't count as a "confession" as such, since I'm not ashamed of having done so. I didn't read them for pleasure, but so that when I came to discuss or pass comment on them later I could do so from an informed standpoint rather than just parroting the second/third-hand commentary I'd read elsewhere.

Whole thing here, and it's pretty terrible. Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that you wanted to play a D&D-esque game that included sex scenes, maybe even had sexual encounters as a common feature of the campaign. You know what all those personal, potentially soul-baring moments of characterization and interpersonal encounters need? STATS AND CHARTS FOR EVERYTHING INVOLVING SEX. Getting into specifics would probably warrant at least a warning, though, given the content, and I doubt I could point out anything about the system that others haven't done a dozen times over, so I'll just keep my mouth shut. The one thing I recall seeing that I hadn't seen others comment on (that is not inappropriate, exactly) is a table regarding marriages: in the FATAL system, you can have a homosexual marriage...but it can't be a happy marriage.

There was a thread awhile back about popular media (might have specified literature) that most people think is good but you think is bad; the only one that immediately came to mind (for me) was Lord Of The Flies.
