    Thyr slowly shakes her head in disbelief.
    "That is just crude." She remarks and gestures to the bladder of water on her pack. "This water should be fine, without whatever intentions you have." She hands the waterskin to Jyn before turning towards the threat. "Just get the lasso ready, Noj and I will deal with whatever else is coming."

    Jyn would have likely visibly blushed had her cheeks not already been red and flustered from the heat. 'It may be crude, but when you are lacking water, every wise woman knows our liquid waste is sterile enough to wash wounds and melt frozen gear,' she thinks with a snicker.

    Grabbing the water skin with her free hand, and resting her bow against her chest she begins to uncork the skin and dose the rope in precise life giving fluid.

    Noj draws his blade with a flourish and takes his stand next to Thyr.
    "All right woman," he laughs, "Let's rip their bowels out." He squints, though, and stops smiling.
    "Keep your stance low," the Avalancher says, bravado gone and with a strange tenseness in his voice.
    "They'll try and knock you off the bridge if they can, and our red hair don't stop us from getting burned by the earth-blood down there."
    Returning his gaze to the creatures at hand, Noj ponders.
    Down, under, feint, then hilt to the head? That could work if you drop to keep them from counter-attacking you right off the bridge...
    If there's nothing out there, then what was that noise?

    Missiles come whistling out of the darkness angled around the giant pot that totters towards you.
    Mynas is taken unaware and two arrows slam into her chest, forcing a gasp from her. Noj is more prepared and shifts his stance lower so the shots whizz over his head.

    *Ingvar needs to make a roll for Rope Use* (and explain please, what do you intend to do with the rope?)

    The pot advances and stops, it begins to tip it's load.

    Below, Vesha focusses on the corner area, and quickly his fingers clasp around something in a dusty nook under an outcrop of rock. Flat and smooth with sharp edges he claws it out and expectantly he holds it up into the light. It glimmers bronze as the gold metal reflects the reddish light.
    The wolf's breathing is still erratic, but the large red wound is slowly disappearing.
    The part human head turns to see the crest held up in the light, and Raenis speaks through dry lips, "Go below, use it... it is a key. Take arms... whatever you need... maps there ... show how the ritual ... formed. And the vial... drink your own blood from it... and learn of your ancestors. Careful though... drink one drop... only."

    Picking up the medallion and clasping it tight in one hand, Vesha puts his maul on his back through the belt loop. He nods at the creature's words, terror and awe on his face, then he turns and runs for the ledge, jumping up to grab the lip through the liquid fire, and pull himself up.

    ((Thyr needs another Spot check to apply her dodge pool to an enemy, map below for reference. You can see that with your move action you can gain cover from the pot.))

    ((Vesha can reach 8ft standing and needs to catch hold of the bridge, which is 14ft. In order to make a standing vertical jump of 6ft, Jump DC is 48... good luck with that!))

    Realising he'll never be able to pull himself up this way through the slippery liquid fire, Vesha steps to the side, putting his hands and upper body through the waterfall of fire, and reaching around to the dry rocks at the side of the cave entrance. He attempts to pull himself onto them, to hang over the lava.

    Having already handed the wet rope off, Jyn resecures her bow and flinches slightly as Thyr takes two arrows to her chest. Looking up to see where the shots origniated from, she tries to take aim for her own shot.

    Ingvar quickly flips the rope, making a big loop and holding it together with a slip knot. The soggy rope is heavy and the wetness will keep the knot firm. He tests the feel of it and measures a length.

    *Ingvar needs to roll to hit.*

    Vesha looks for a gap in the hot stream grabs for a promising rock. He doesn't have much time to test the weight and launches himself out, his feet scrambling for purchase.

    ...a wave of warmth trickles over him, tickling his lungs and dropping his balls. A single flame ignites briefly on his back before turning to smoke.

    The creatures oposite hunker down, perhaps waiting for the cauldron to move out of the way. You think they maybe saving their arrows, when suddenly one flight swoops out and thunks firmly into Thyr's shield. It jolts her but she stands her ground, the trusty framed and treated timber captures another pock mark and loses another splinter. A group of hisses drift across the walkway, stuttering like an evil cackle.

    Ingvar's throw is well judged and the loop floats carefully over the brim of the cauldron. The hunter pulls it taut and leans back, using his weight to try and hold the pot.
    The cauldron is tipped slightly to the side, and the superhot liquid flows upto the brim threatening to spill out over the lip.

    *A Strength roll from Ingvar please, and anyone else who decides to help him.*

    Vesha strains and pulls his way up the rocky wall, after a few steps it begins to curve over and makes the climb somewhat easier. He doesn't break a sweat at all, as despite the exertion and the threat of the boiling liquid below all the heat is swept away from him leaving him surrounded with cooler air.
    The shaman climbs quickly up to the top of the cave, and carefully eases himself to a standing position so he can reach the bridge.

    *Vesha needs a Balance roll*

    Eyeing Vesha already out of the cave, Jyn decides not to help Ingvar delay the dumping of the cauldron and instead focus on the enemies firing upon the group. With utmost precision, she draws a bead with her bow and aims at the closest foe. Letting her breath out as the bow releases, she stands confident that the arrow will find its mark.

    Thyr curses as she ducks away from the thrown lasso and tries again to spot her assailants. So far however, they hadn't been able to make a repeat performance. Quickly her mind started determining what these creatures were that were attacking. No doubt they were the Cadinoc that Thyr was afraid would be coming for the Adelmada. But why were they on the far end of the chamber?

    The wiry hunter wraps the ropes around both knuckles and heaves with all his power. He halts the pot on the brink of tipping out and leans back -almost fully to a forty five degree tilt- his knees bent to balance and his heels firmly planted.
    Ingvar growls deep in his throat and his corded arms knot tighter, incredibly he starts to straighten his legs and the cauldron moves a fraction back towards him.
    The weight of the giant metal container must be huge when it's full and it's balance is a delicate thing...

    *Strength roll needed for Ingvar*

    Mynas crouches slightly, her shield weaving side to side in front of her to screen any sudden attacks, but she can't see anything beyond the glow of the cavern. The cold dark rocks on the other side of the bridge look barren, but suddenly her comrades let arrows fly.
    Two arrows strike into the figure hidden by a rock at the edge of the bridge.

    Both Jyn and Noj found the tight corridor -past the cauldron and Ingvar straining- to clip the thing in the shoulder where it thought it had shelter. The two flights protrude alongside one another from the form. It squawks briefly and pulls itself quickly behind the rock entirely.

    Suddenly there's a gasp to the side as Vesha slips from his perch, into the pool atop the cave, his grasping fingers missing the edge of the bridge...

    fire damage - (3d6)[10]

    Thankfully the pool is nearly drained, as the cauldron has not managed to refresh it. One of Vesha's ankles is partly submerged as he scrambles to get out and leap for the bridge...

    Vesha's foot burns briefly with terrible heat, and he doesn't dare look down as he steps once on dry rock and bounds up to the bridge, landing with one hand down on the stone and one foot bent under him. Straightening up to stand, his foot is bare and hairless to the shin where the remains of the leather boot top smoulders.
    The shaman look up to where the hunter strains more with the rope, pulling the cauldron over onto only two of it's little legs. The firey liquid sloshes dangerously and a splatter tips out, landing on the rocky bridge in front of Mynas, sizzling and blackening on the rock.
    The rope ignites and frays and the pot clanks down again. The great metal cauldron mechanically begins to tip again, over the edge of the bridge and this time the rope is not strong enough to stop it
