Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
Okay, here we go: The big difference was in that Gripp made some use of the mobility abilities of the elocator in his divide and conquer type strategy with grappling. Ardatha did not as much. Even then it felt like the defensive abilities and better BAB of slayer was just the patently better choice. The biggest reason you got a cut, though, is because what you do well you do regardless of elocator and it utterly outshines everything elocator gives. That being said, Ardatha's penalty compared to Gripp's is a bit off. I will revise the UoSI score to 2.5, up from 2.0.

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
What's rocking, bubs?
The judging deadline was four days ago. Are we keeping things on hold for now in the hopes of getting another judge, or is it time to wrap things up and start the next round? We could always just give it another day or two so that it lines up closer with the Villainous Competition. The Forsaker: A 3.5e revamp.

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
I'm not dead, I just got guilted into catching up on homework this week instead.
If I can't hack it out tomorrow, I'll probably get it on Thursday after my finals are done, unless I find myself with enough hours to spare before then. (I'm not doing it today cuz I'm busy working on my Villainous Competition entry and prepping for my 5e game.)Rhymes with "Protracted."

It is only 5 PM EST. Troacctid needs time to come home, get settled and work on this, assuming she is East Coast US. If she is farther out west it will take longer still. Be patient.

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
I'm partway through, but I got invited to go caroling tonight, so I might not be done until tomorrow, maybe the day after. If I'm not finished by Hanukkah, the most likely explanation is that I was mugged by a Zerth Cenobite who punched me out of the time stream.

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
And yesterday was manically busy for me, sorry I didn't get a chance to post here. Hopefully I'll get a chance to properly deal with this tonight - I'm on my phone waiting for a train at the moment. Would you prefer I close the contrast as is tonight, open the new thread and leave this one open to be judged, or leave this open without starting the new thread?

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
Seems unfair to Troacctid to leave this for her to judge while we move on to a new contest. I'd just as soon close this one as is and move on, but I don't have a build in here, so it should perhaps not be up to me.

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
In the same boat as WBS ... I'd say close it down and move on, but as I don't exactly have a dog in the race (and to be frank haven't gotten around racing for the last several contests), I'm not certain if my opinion is worth much

Re: Iron Chef Optimisation Challenge in the Playground LXXXII
I'm neither cooking nor judging this round, but I'm about to head out on vacation for the holidays, and I'd be surprised if I'm the only one who's got demands on my attention above and beyond the usual right now. If a new round is posted now, I'm even less likely than usual to contribute to it (and again, I doubt I'm alone in that regard). I have absolutely zero problem waiting, especially if Troacctid is half done judging (and if she's willing to stick it out until the end).
That said, I'm not going to flounce out of here and swear off IC forever or anything if we kick off the new round this week. Just thought I'd throw that in there, though.
(Speaking of, happy holidays, everyone, whatever you do or don't observe.)Last edited by Zaq; 2016-12-24 at 02:07 AM.
