Ooh, looks like this season could have more Indiana Jones style treasure hunts! Those have been my favourite episodes thus far, by and large.

Two new episodes so far, Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks, and Quack Pack. Both pretty good.

Another new episode, Double-O-Duck in You Only Crash Twice.

A surprisingly touching story, I got all teared up at the climax. Nice that it was a conscious decision and not just "it wore off".

I recognized that rat when she showed up, (although I thought she was a mouse) and was kind of disappointed that them other guys didn't get any lines either, when they appeared. Is this the secret origin of You Know Who?

I thought Senior Woodchuck was pretty weak and predictable. And a tired moral of the story. The other two were good.

Shivers when I heard the words Quack Pack, but based off the episode description there are other 90s things in there that I love that they reference so I will probably adore that episode!

Apparently the reason that the Rescue Rangers didn't have lines and were never referred to by name is becuase the writers were forbidden to use them back in season one: In the script, the characters are never described so by the time the executives knew who the "enhanced rodents" were it was too late to stop them(though by then the executives changed their mind.)

The episode was pure nightmare fuel.

    ---

I don't really mind that the "Enhanced Rodents" didn't get any lines. I think that would have demanded character introductions, some kind of bit and generally been an overall distraction. This wasn't the formal introduction of new characters, but a nod to the greater universe of shows they're tying together. But it does also sort of beg the question since said rodents existed in a world with humans.

Okay, so we had hippie heaven and a talking harp that became even more annoying than the Singing Sword. Anybody else slightly underwhelmed? Della was the best part, and I think she had less than three minutes of screentime.

How did DuckTales write a better Bond theme than Billie Eilish and Sam Smith???

Not the best episode, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Scrooge dealing with hippies is great fun, and episodes where the whole family gets screentime are pretty great in my book. The show has a great cast, and I'm always concerned someone's going to fade into the background.

To be fair, Ducktales has a pretty good track record in terms of theme songs.

Have people seen the trailer for ep4 yet? ... appearently the episode 'antagonist' is the no-nonsense personal assistant of rich party-holder that Louis and Donald want to crash ... Daisy Duck (who Louis obviously already is aware of, given his fetishistic obsession of rich people)

Emma Glamour was the rich/famous person that Louie knew about. I don't think any of them knew about Daisy beforehand. As soon as I heard Daisy speak, I knew she was voiced by Tress McNeille. It's her standard "High Powered Business Lady" voice, like Linda the newscaster for Futurama, or Lindsey Naegle from the Simpsons.
I did not recognize Bebe Neuwirth as Emma though.

I wonder if this means April, May and June will be showing up eventually?

Also, one of the best lines in the episode "MooOOoom, this party sucks(?stinks? I forget the exact word)."

She was the event security guarding the stage earlier in this episode. If she was also in a different episode I do not recall that at all.

I didn't twig to this being an Astro Boy homage, until I saw that they were going to Japan. I didn't notice any references to any anime besides Astro Boy though. Even that final splash screen with Huey and Boyd was from the show.

I'd almost go as far as to say that it was more blatant, if only because it's a lot more current, and exposed to the west
