Whatever the orbs are, they are very highly advanced. Dabbler couldn't get any magic or anything else off of them. My feeling is that they are actually only part of a system and are supposed to work with something else. Say a certain persons' ability to hack reality.

    - In 2013-2014, he revealed dozens of supers who were secretly living next door before they decided to go public just when Vehemence told them to.
They were not that secret, some had done prior work as mercenaries. And they were not living next door. With Opal Vehemence could pick them up from all over the world.

It withstood Maxima's daisycutter fire blast even when extended around a field of reporters. It held off deep-sea conditions, and Sciona's adaptable blood robo-monster couldn't overcome it either. It blocked Vehemence's aura, and probably also that of Dabbler.

There haven't been numbers slapped onto it, but as PFGs go, this one is extremely strong and versatile. We haven't seen it in a radiation environment, yet, but if that is covered as well, Sydney could do space walks.
I dont call that meaningful testing. Not in the situation when you want to smack the "night-almighty" label on them.
It has proven to be really strong and reliable. But it has not yet eaten a full force attack from someone of Max's weight class. Let alone Vehemence who seemed to be stronger in his powered state.

Better plan- Maxima goes with the diplomats, sydney stays on earth, and adventures happen without Maxima around to superman them.

Theres been some small forshadowing that Maxima will end up opposed to the team, voluntarily or otherwise, possibly due to the influence of a former enemy that Dabbler defeated at some indeterminate point in the past.

Thats honestly a much better plan. The story needs to put Max on a bus. A space one would work wonderfully.

There has been some discrete foreshadowing of things to come from Dabblers background. But they dont directly point towards that.

She could invade a space station and steal the tour bus of an acrobat troupe. Petey already payed for some.

From the very first pages however, it is implied that Col. Leander is still on Earth for the foreseeable future.

Still time for a couple "month" vacation in outer space! That covers the next 60 years worth of comic updates and then she shows up, declares sydney a corporal, and she celebrates with a game of D&D with her friends before showing up at base on her first day as a corporal. Boom, the perfect plan.

That should be the title of something, maybe a White Wolf sourcebook.

Hmm, I wonder if the last unidentified orb might be a universal translator.

With twice as many votes as the next contestant we have a clear winner as thread title.
Therefore, here before the discussion picks up again with the next comic we got a new thread.
