So, based on this preparation(and the fact that the unspoken plan guarantee is a metaphysical law in oots), one of two things is going to happen.

    1. No combat at all is going to happen.
    2. V having one more casting of mind-blank left is going to be used in an interesting and dramatic way.

    Also, bloodfeast is incredibly adorable.

V's enacting the proper "Kill it with FIRE" strategy that all undead should be subjected to. I approve.

Also, is their really enough air in a bag of holding for a living critter to enjoy a nap without dying?

May I just say, I'm absolutely loving Elan's increasing self-awareness. What was odd though, was that for once it almost felt that he was playing up his cloudcuckoolander-ness to push the conversation towards the joke at his expense. Can it be possible that he's genuinely getting smarter all the time?

Per the SRD, one of the lesser-known (at least to me) benefits of Mind Blank is that the target becomes immune to scrying. That could pose a problem for any extradimensional beings trying to keep tabs on V's activities as they relate to the potential end of the world....

Maybe it doesn't apply to small enough creatures? The bag is full of air, after all, and Bloodfest probably doesn't need that much. As long as Belkar open the bag every day or so to refresh the air, it should be fine?

We could probably extrapolate the volume of air needed by a reature that small as a fraction of the one needed by O-Chul. But just due to size difference, those 10 mintues for a human would turn into hours for a lizard.

It doesn't make any allowance for creature-size, so apparently if you put a mouse in one Bag of Holding and squeezed a minotaur into another, they'd both have exactly 10 minutes of air. From this we can conclude that obviously a Bag of Holding doesn't have ANY air and instead has some sort of back-up life support spell that is based on time rather than volume.
Either that or the writers just badly underestimated what sort of shenanigans players would get up to.

Unlikely. Scrying from heaven beats epic level protection (the spell Dorukan developed), so I would be surprised if some regular high Level spell could protect against a scry the Trio. I think, they could beat Dorukans Spell as well, but I am sure, by the time I finish my writing, somebody else will have responded already, including links to the relevant pages.

Honestly, that actually makes sense. The magic can keep a creature alive for 10 minutes before it gives out. you can fit 10 mice into a bag and they'll all live for 10 minutes.
