Default 3.5 Abjuration BFC Wizard assistance

So I've been perusing every handbook I can find and i've got a general idea of what i'm going for. Campaign is Dragonlance and DM is pretty strict about it. We've got access to all the Complete blah books.

I'm joining in at level 18 and want to specialize in Abjuration targeting mainly bfc. We apparently have three wizards. one boom wizard, one conjuration, and then theres me.

For wizardry the DM is requiring us to take the Wand of High Sorcery at level 5, one level minimum. I'm human and DM lets us take up to two flaws (hell yeah), and taking the appropriate required feats and skills necessary.

Is this the most efficient way to do so? Primary goal is keeping all sevenfold veil levels, and i'd like to get abj champ 5 in but i cant seem to get it. DM is not allowing me to qual for master specialist early with Precocious Apprentice sadly.

So far I'm looking at: (ex: Class / # of Levels)

    Wizard / 3
    Master Specialist / 1
Wiz of High Sorc / 1
    Master Specialist / 4
Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil / 7
    Abjuration Chamption / 4

Any other advice or classes/prc I've overlooked will be welcome. I also tried to put together a duskblade based build but still want 9 level spell progression so thats a limiting factor.

Of note what I'm running into:

Earliest you can qual for Master Specialist is level 4 because you need to be able to cast level 2 spells.

Hard part of qual for Abjurant chamption is the 5 BAB.

very earliest you can qual for Sevenfold veil is 10 due to skill requirements.

If i could just figure out an efficient way to step into Master Specialist one level earlier I'll be able to make it work but without Precocious Apprentice...

your basic builds looks ok. you might consider ruathar instead of master specialist to get your BA up in time for abjurant champion. that way you can enter sooner and take all 5 levels in addition to finishing iotsv.

Illumian with Improved Krau sigil could do it, but it sounds like your DM wouldn't allow it.

Yeah Illumian is out and so is Ruathor because it's forgotten realms. We're on Krynn.

What i'm probably going to end up doing is settling for two or three levels of abj champ, and return to Master Spec so i can get that +1 abjuration CL.

Lose a level of Master Specialist. You don't get anything at level 5 that you can't live without. That'll give you Abjurant Champion 5. Also, Ruathar isn't Forgotten Realms, it's in Races of the Wild, and is a general "friend of the elves" type class.

losing master specialist 5 doesn't help because I cant get sevenfold before 10th level, and cant get abjuration before that because it needs 5 BAB.

that being said there might be something more powerful I can take instead even if it doesnt fix the AbjChamp issue.
