I was reading the latest comic, and was glad to see Parson putting his vast array of gamer knowledge to use in a tactical situation. "At least he has chicken..." Things went bad, but Parson/Leeroy can still get something out of it (in this case, a major enemy unit).

I suggest we compile a set of iconic gamer quotes from different (major) sources. Perhaps Rob and Jamie will draw from it, perhaps not, but I still think it would be a nice project.

IIRC, one of Pratchett's comments on the GURPS Discworld source books is that such a campaign doesn't need a good combat system so much as it needs a good running-away system.
