Does anyone know how normal horses feel about garlic?
Because if they're okay with it, that removes the specter of animal cruelty if I recommend putting a lot of it in Snowflake's feed. (Not that she actually needs it anymore.)

A quick google search suggests it is frequently fed to horses, since it helps protect against parasites, reduces congestion, works as an antihistamine, can ameliorate arthritis, lowers cholesterol levels and high blood pressure, and has been known to fend off werewolves and vampires (and dwarves with functioning olfactory senses and Hailey).

Apparently you can safely feed the average horse up to 5 fresh cloves per day (although you'll be lucky to get a horse to eat even one fresh clove - which is why the garlic is frequently ground up and combined with other foods - and SnowBloodflake will probably protest a bit more than your average warhorse).
