Could happen, could happen, but you might unexpectedly find yourself with a hit on your hands (claws?).

True. We need a true flop - that's putting it mildly! We need a disaster, a catastrophe, an outrage! A guaranteed-to-close-in-one-night beauty!

I'm generally not a fan of remakes but the Nathan Lane/ Matthew Broderick version was just FANTASTIC. John Barrowman really knocked that song out of the park.

You just want a Herald to play a Trumpet? If I got a special entrance for special occasions, I'd want the full WWE entrance package. Cool rock music blaring, fireworks, a giant TV showing off my numerous victories, the whole 9 yards.

I never saw the remake. I'm also generally not a fan of them, either, although with subject matter this good I wouldn't have tried to avoid it. I just remember the original "Springtime for Hitler" number being one of the hardest laughs I've ever had at anything.

In case it still isn’t clear, Peelee was being sarcastic when he claimed to be a 200-foot-tall space puppy.

I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's not often a remake surpasses the original, but it's no surprise that Mel Brooks was one to achieve it.
