grumkik grunts at glibs statement, obviously not agreeing with it but not willing to intergect at this point. instead he enters and surveys the room.

Zenra takes a deep breath and looks to the door, then to the many corpses on the ground and then to Bruin. "I am afraid we've little time to give proper burial to the innocent slain here by the twisted beasts. We must make haste to the top of the tower... for there may be lives to save yet." With that, he begins to run toward the doors.

Bruin, directly after applying his healing magic to the others, slips his wand away and follows, his Reaper still ready and still thirsting.

The changeling warrior rushes the door, leaping over corpses where he needs to and past the desks. He goes to the door and raises his blade high, hacking into the door over and over. "My allies, please aid me!"

The halfling troupe looks up, at eachother, and with a quick nod, they rush on to aid their comrade.

Before long the three halflings and the changeling cut the door down and swing it open, leaving a horrible gash in it. The room beyond is dark... and the smell of decay is even thicker in here than it was in the room full of ghoulish dinosaurs...

Bruin will again take the lead into the room. He must show no fear before such beasts, or all his faith is for nothing. Raising his Reaper before him, me moves through the door, ready to take on anything that comes before him.
Onward, companions. Not much farther to the top, and the perppetrator of these offenses.

The first sense that is stimulated is sound, and then followed immediately by smell. The sound some similar to teeth on bone, chewing almost like a massive dog. The smell is very obviously of carrion. There is only enough light from the next room to detect a massive figure sitting on the right side of the room.

The halfling group slides up against the wall outside the door, Whisp and Shade taking a look inside, cautious to try and not be noticed, despite the loud entrance.

After taking a look around, if nothing urgent happens in a couple of rounds, they'll go back behind the door and sign to each other to tell what they noticed.

They both look inside, apparently undetected due to the creature taking no action, but what they figure out from what they can see in the darkness is it is apparently a massive humanoid creature, and at taking enough time to smell more of it, half the carrion stench comes from it...

I'm gonna delay Grummy's turn until he can post this round, so everyone else can take their turn.

Bruin, no longer worried about disturbing the beast, raises his Reaper into the air. Whispering a long string of prayers, chants, and songs, he presses the small symbol on top of the mace to his own flesh. With a searing white light, the symbol seems to be branded into his flesh, however, the symbol etched into his skin does not harm him, but glows with supernatural strength.

“My Father! I beseech you! Give me the might and prowess to do your will and scour this abomination from your people’s lands!” He cries out to the darkness, and within a second a force, like silent thunder, echoes through the room, rushing down and entering the mouth of the servant.

An almost audible popping sounds as the muscles of the half-orc’s body swelled, bolstered by the divine power of his god. In a rush, the skill of all those who had served before him flooded his mind, their whispers of righteousness and duty growing as he tightened his grip on his Reaper. Feeling invincible, Bruin, now somehow taller, more present, almost more real than he was before, stared at the creature with a hard look in his eyes, the symbol on his forehead still steaming and glowing with the light of Aeomon.

“Now, corpse, I will release you.”

"I'm gonna hit this thing hard, Glib, back me up, and Shade, you better hide us!" Shouts Whisp, pulling a small bottle out of his belt and uncorking it, smoke pouring out. He mutters a short chant, and swirls his hand, the smoke swirling through the air, drawing out into a long line, he then holds his hand out, sending the smoke through the air at the creature in front of them swirling about it's head, then seeping in through it's mouth and nose.

Shade nods, pressing his hand against his dagger, and sending a burst of energy out, enveloping everyone in the magical aura, then him then looks to shade, who points over by the creature, and Shade nods, running over there, while Whisp circles around the nearby pillar, and comes about the other side of the enemy.

"Alright, now's your chance, strike while he can't see us!" yells out Glib, who enters the room, moving out of the way of the others, and mutters
"may my words let your blades strike true!" he says, before starting to hum a dirge.

As if time had stopped still I was numb with fear but still,
I wanted to go.
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me,
as I walked onto the coals.

And I felt I was in a trance,
and my spirit was lifted from me.
And if only someone had the chance,
to witness what happened to me.

Whisp casts Belker Claws, then moves to the square 1 up and 1 to the right of the right pillar.

Shade casts Invisibility Sphere on his dagger, everyone within 20ft is invisible (should be the entire party) then moves forward with Whisp, ending 10ft to the left of the enemy.

Glib moves to be 1 up and 1 to the right of the left pillar, then casts Inspired Performance as a swift action to give his bardic music an additional +1, then uses his bardic music, giving everyone a +2 to attack and damage

From the door comes a previously unseen figure, gruff looking with tan skin... His hair is scraggly and black but this fact is most obvious due to the large beard on the man's face. He holds in his hand a longbow with an arrow notched on the bowstring...

And that notched bow didn't remain notched particularly long. Krell Lonn, a slayer and hunter of the beasts of the dead and fell planes alike, had come to test his hand at destroying undead. And many would fall by his hand, well, rather his arrow, but the point would be gotten across rather soon. His gruff appeal hid only an even gruffer attitude toward the monsters of the dead, and so as he rushed into the tower, he fired off his arrow into the beast's hide.

Okay sorry about delaying you guys a little bit, lets figure this out...

Krell Lonn runs into the room on the leftmost part of the door, then proceeds to go Diagnol NW twice, ending up exactly within thirty feet of the monstrous zombie thingie. Go him. 20 ft so he gains +2 AC and +2d6 skirmish damage, normally he gets 2d6 so he gets 4d6 'cause he moved 20 ft.

Krell loses the arrow, which finds it's target and hits hard. It bellows with a sound similar to an angry drunk and slams it's fist into the wall. Zenra speaks up, "This appears to be the greatest brute we've come across. Surely it is also the greatest fool." And with that the changeling rushes the beast and uses his momentum to sink his blade into the undead flesh. It leaves a long, pale red gash across the body of the undead abomination and it grunts in anger.
It reaches out with a scowl on it's face for Zenra, as if trying to grab and crush his head. Zenra seems wise enough, though to avoid the hand of the beast as it crashes into the ground before him.

And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them.
All had death in their eyes.
Lifeless figures,they were undead all of them.
They had ascended from hell.

As I danced with the dead my free spirit was laughing
and howling down at me.
Below my undead body,
just danced the circle of death.

"Men, Ready your arms!" Shouted Whisp, and in moments a burst of magical energy burst from the middle of the room, filling everyone with energy.

Shade and Whisp appeared only moments before striking at the opponent, taking it unawares. Then Shade stuck once more, just as Glib swings a rock over his head and strikes at the creature as well.

Glib continues to sing, and uses a move action to pull out his sling and ammo.

The halflings swing their blades in a flurry, but only those granted from the swiftness of the spell manages to cut through the creature's undead flesh. A bit of foul-smelling ichor drips out and it grunts as the dull feeling of pain surges through that one small portion of it's body.
Zenra quickly swings his sword up and through the body of the monster, leaving a terrible gash in it's torso, Zenra with a hard look on his face. His sword hits the ground hard and with a flash of white sparks.

"puny fleshies get smash!! RAAAAUUGHH!!"
