Ozahal raises an eyebrow in response to the comment from the half elf, cracking a smile in response to the progression in conversation. "From one grim topic to another. I'm fine with acting the slave, but won't anything precious like this jewelry stand out?"
The moon sees nothing of this. She is bald and wild.

Ophine listened to the plan, frowning.
"My methods of bloodshed are not reliant on steel; the skins I borrow need no catalyst. I suspect it is not the same for the others, to go unarmed into the den of lions."

But no man may know, for she'll ne'er return.

As you inspect the earrings closer, they're simple bits of metal with a fastener, none of them are fancy enough to truly be called jewelry. Ollisandra responds, "If someone finds these valuable, then I would be very suprised."

Lilisendra taps her lips thoughtfully with a finger, then speaks. "I must confess to having similar concerns, but you seem to have largely addressed them. You say that arms and armour are expected, but what of, *ahem*, less conventional tools of the trade?"
She reaches into a pouch at her belt, pulls out a length of oddly bent wire, and waggles it between her fingers.
"I mean, yes, I could make do with a limited selection, but best prepared and all that."

Seems more subtle and possessing a higher likelihood of resulting in less bloodshed than my typical plans, so lets give it a shot. Braun shrugs.

What's the worst that could happen?

He takes his earring and forcibly shoves the sharp point through his earlobe.

Ozahal picks up the earring, turning it over in hand and wincing briefly at Braun's technique. "I'm afraid I can't be much help in hiding or otherwise smuggling tools. But once within, I can make use of anything we can find. Perhaps we could have these welded to simple iron rings for our earless friend and I? I'm afraid I don't have pierced ears."
