Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
Banjo is composed of red, yellow, and blue; like the rest of the mortal world.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
Banjo's quiddity is "none", and this is not the first time this question (or an equivalent) has been asked.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
So how often these days do you guys think Rich regrets writing Banjo into the story?
I won a thread. Am I pathetic to list that in my signture? Yes. Of course I am.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
There seems to be two very different views of Banjo:
1) Banjo is not a god . He is completely, totally, and entirely an inert puppet. Elan is a Cleric who worships no gods, and he carries around his puppet based on a delusion. As such, he has no quiddity.
2) Banjo is a God. He’s a very, very minor god without enough power to to anything useful, but a real actual god none the less. As such, he is likely to have a quiddity, but it is irrelevant.Last edited by Dion; 2018-11-19 at 11:10 AM.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
Elan is a bard/dashing swordsman. He doesn't actually have any cleric levels.

Don't mind me! I'm the new guy! I haven't been around long enough to recognize the type of humor around here! It's my fault for automatically assuming YOU were the one who was confused.
I've picked up on this joke though and I've taken to highlighting posts to see if there is hidden trickery lol

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
Banjo's quiddity is the same colour as Freya's beard.

Ever wondered how many games are mentioned in the comic? I have listed them all in a geeklist: https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/2...es-order-stick

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
If he'd really regretted it, he could've easily killed it at several points. Wouldn't have been too hard to have Elan give up Banjo during his character growth in BRitF. The fact that he still uses Banjo for gags means he wants to keep an element of silliness in his story, but never will that silliness be overly crucial to the story (you've already had Banjos moment of plot importance with the Orc Island.)
The forums reaction to Banjo, however, I can imagine causing a few groans and 'come on guys, it's a stupid joke, leave it at that'.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
I personally would love to see banjo actually ascend, but probably not as a plot point, just something funny and silly that happens and has no actual relevance.
As to the color of his quiddity, if he's in an existing Pantheon it would the color of said Pantheon. If not, it would be whatever color represents hilarity of course. I don't know what color that would be.
Banjo, you ascended! Does this mean you can make the story have a happy ending?
Banjo: Alas Elan, I cannot, for my way is not the way of aiding, and driving forth fate as the other gods do. I represent absurdism. Or is it absurdity? I cannot make your happy ending, that burden lies on you, my faithful High Bard.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
Wasn't Thor or Odin hoping to sponsor him? That mean's he'd adopt the Northern pantheon's.

Re: Banjo’s Quiddity
You know, I just realized that Elan is going to ask just that, once Durkon transmits this massive info-dump.
Part of me wishes Durkon throttles him a bit, but that's unlikely.Last edited by Fyraltari; 2018-11-20 at 11:34 AM.
