Yeah, there is an error in this match and I pause it.

Preparing to throw a splash weapon is a full-round action that triggers AOO's.
Now I dont know if it means readying an action to throw or if it means that you need to use a full round action to throw. Will need an experienced high ref to rule on this one.

Also, should we consider the Tanglefoot bag or any other item a weapon when applying the +1 BAB = free to draw while moving ? It says that they are weapons but are more of a gear. Maybe I am nitpicking this too much here.

Tanglefoot bags have one listed use in the rules, to be used as a weapon. I'd say that qualifies as enough to allow that part. Want another High ref in here for the consensus on the other part.

Edit: After review, I've found that Tanglefoot bags are not splash weapons. Many other alchemical items are, but tanglefoot bags do not deal any adverse effects to nearby characters. Thus, area of rules that deals with splash weapons is irrelevant.

First, where is this "Ready a spalsh weapon" action? The only full round action I know of with Splash weapons is jury-rigging oil as a splash weapon.

Second, I think we should leave potions, alchemical items, and other such items under the category of "weapon-like" for simplicity. Unless an item is considerably unwieldly or burried in a pack, we shouldn't have a problem.

As far as I can determine from the SRD, the "Prepare to throw splash weapon" action is only for improvised splash weapons such as oil flasks, not for regular splash weapons.

I would say that it should be for all splash weapons as it says "Prepare to throw a splash weapon" and not "Prepare to throw an improvised splash weapon".

Edit: and what good will it do you if you throw an oil/potion anyway ?

IMO, preparing to throw a splash weapon would apply to splash weapons that need to be prepared. Throwing something is a standard action. There's no reason it should take longer to throw something that is made to shatter on impact. Certainly not a full round and a standard action. Preparing a splash weapon would be like lighting an oil flask so it burns on impact like a firebomb. If you don't have any preparation to make, then you don't have to spend the full round doing it.
