Rachel is still learning about Bay Area Kindred politics, but she knows a little. If there was one rival for The Prince of Oakland, if there was one vampire that he envied and feared it would be The Prince of San Francisco. Among Kindred, Oakland was viewed as a lesser city; a wild and unruly city run by a young Rabble. Oakland was looked down on by many of the "higher" courts across America, and thus Reggie Fort's greatest rival was Nicholas D'Agostino; or at least that was probably how Fort saw it.

Rachel is down to 5/6 WP

I will be honest, I really wish how Face in the Crowd and Cloak of the Night were differentiated better from a game mechanics standpoint. With Face in the Crowd, Rachel should fade into the background. But does that help if someone is specifically worried about or looking for her? Like Victor isn't trying to find her, but I imagine she would stand out more than usual in the crowd and he would probably be a little bit more vigilant about her presence. So how well does Face in the Crowd keep one hidden in this situation?

I think Face in the Crowd shouldn't help in such a situation, but I don't think the argument is obviously stronger for that interpretation. That said, Rachel passed her Stealth roll, so we can just assume she stays hidden.

That said again, what Face in the Crowd does do, is hide Rachel's Predatory Aura from other vampires, so Victor can't use that "sense" to find her.

@Haval: While the WP should net you a success no matter what, the way Rachel is acting, this sounds as an attempted intimidation, rather than a lie, regardless of how much she might be playing up her ability to follow through on the threat. Would you agree?

Regardless, will roll contested Composure for Victor (4d10)[2][8][7][6](23)

Fair but she's a lot better at lying :)

    Whatever works for you though.

The best Anna can do is that she knows the make and model of Nova's van. Maybe she could find some way to figure out the license plate and block it.

But Rachel knows a Ventrue in the Carthians who she might be able to turn to. He's not a contact, but maybe with the right incentive, Thomas Greenlief would be willing to tell her who else is working with Nova, and who may be helping her tonight.
