Of course, this whole mess wouldn't have happened in the first place if you hadn't somehow given cause for revenge to the deadliest assassin organization in the multiverse...But Spade kept that thought to himself.Saga of Soul: Not your Typical Magical Girl Story.

"Winter wolves and worms will be no problem. When do we leave? I only need a few seconds before passing through the portal to prepare myself." Demons and frostwights? Meh they can't be tougher than giant worms. Sounds like this won't be that hard after-all...

Re: Frostbite (IC)
OOC: I'm assuming you are all ready.
IC: Mr. Jarkins nods to the floating skull, which chants in a strange and indecipherable language, and colds sweeps through the room, chilling all of you to the bone.
The room spins and goes black as the freezing temperatures zoom in on you.
You wake up at the front of a large doorway, standing in the middle of a huge white plain of snow that seems to go on forever. All of you are stuck at least a foot in the snow, with Big E even more. A blizzards buffets you, almost penetrating the magical protection provided by the snowsuits.
CRUNCH:
Spoiler
All of your movement rates are reduced by half, some reflex saves take a minus four penalty, and it takes a Concentration check to successfully cast spells.

You don't really see that much, the snow is almost blinding. Doesn't mean there isn't anything there though.

Re: Frostbite (IC)
Gnaf
The worg blinks and struggles to his feet, pausing to shake the snow off of himself. Prior to the Skull's chanting he had taken a moment to manifest a power (Adapt Body) on himself. Now in this snowy realm he looks physically different: his coat has paled to a silvery grey, nearly white. It's also much thicker and bit fluffier too.
"Wow... " He simply comments as his head clears. The worg turns around a few times taking in the plane. "Any idea if this door is something we should go through or where the caravan is coming from?"
Taking 10 on spot(29) and listen(32)
Twenty if time allows. (39 and 42)
((About this door: Is it in a wall/building or simply just a free standing frame?))

Ki'Zanne
"Well, it looks like we made it," Ki says grimly as she thinks just how long it'll be before she feels warm without the snowsuit. "Now all we have to do is figure out where 'here' is. I don't know if 'north' will tell us much at all, but I suppose it's a start." Ki's brow furrows in slight concentration as the whipping of the wind and snow all around her makes it irritating to focus her thoughts and cast her spell.

Re: Frostbite (IC)
Gnaf
Satisifed nothing will jump them in the immediate vicinity the worg sniffs the wind a few times and looks around at the blowning snow trying to predict when the storm will end. ((Survival - (1d20+23)[31] to predict the weather))
"Ki, Big E, I'm going to take a quick walk around the gate to scout the area out. Try to wake the others: I might need help if I find trouble, and any long-ranged forays into the storm should be in a group. I'll give you a howl if I get myself into trouble."
With that the Worg turns and starts out, trying to move lightly on top of the snow. Balance take 10, 42. If he's still sinking into the ground enough to reduce movement by half, Gnaf will manifest Body Equilibrium on himself.
He also tries to move stealthily, staying low to the ground to hide amidst the whirling snow. (Where there's concealment there's a hiding spot) He moves in a circle around the group staying just close enough to still see his allies, searching for anything unusual as he moves. hide - (1d20+19)[27] Move Silently - (1d20+21)[27] Spot - (1d20+19)[30] Listen - (1d20+22)[32], and a Search - (1d20+7)[23] Survival - (1d20+23)[26] just in case those are needed too.

Re: Frostbite (IC)
Gnaf doesn't know when the storm is going to end.
The direction 'North' doesn't imply anything on this plane. You cannot find out where 'North' is.
As Gnaf is traversing out in the snow, he hears...something behind him.RIP Gary Gygax, March 4th, 2008. May he roll 20's in heaven forever.

Gnaf
Don't stop
Gnaf Keeps moving at 1/2 speed to avoid a move silently/hide penalty (which still comes out to 100 ft/round with double move action...) he tries to circle around so that whatever made the noise is upwind of him.
((Feel free to reroll anything applicable.))

"Well this isn't starting well," Ki mutters as she sees the worg take a great 'smack' and thinking that The Gentle Rain is not the best equpped order to be fighing on an elemental plane like cold. But things are the way they are, and she would make the best of them.

We'll also be using a grid system, just to help out with the fighting. It'll go form A-Z on the X axis, and 1-26 on the Y axis. The gateway is at (M, 13) and Gnaf is at (A, 3). Winterwight 2 is at (M, 1) and Winterwight 3 is at (Z, 13). Each space represents five feet, as is normal.RIP Gary Gygax, March 4th, 2008. May he roll 20's in heaven forever.

Re: Frostbite (IC)
Gnaf
The worg spins around to face the winterwight that had attacked him while taking a (5ft) step back, swelling greatly in size as he does so, before lunging forward to bite the creature.
Spoiler
Swift Action: Augmented Expansion [swift, huge, 10 min/level: 15pp]
Standard Action: G. Psionic Fist/Unavoidable Strike Bite w/Power Attack[10]
Touch Attack - (1d20+19)[24] Damage - (7d6+41)[68] Trip - (1d20+22)[24]
Move Action: If after the 5ft step he isn't adjacent to any enemy he'll meditate to restore his psionic focus. (1d20+30 DC 20, it should succeed)
If anything provoks and AoO from Gnaf (like either a tripped winter wright standing or a creature moving through his 10ft reach after expansion) then Bite w/Power Attack[2]
Attack - (1d20+27)[32] Damage - (3d6+25)[38] Trip - (1d20+22)[29]
Question: Does Gnaf's DR 15/Adamantine reduce the previous 55 damage to 40?
Also, Gnaf designates the creature for his +1 Dodge to AC, for whatever good that will do.
