The Innkeeper smiles. "Alright, a deal's a deal. 25 gp for yer rooms each, plus... how many rooms do ya want?"

Spade glances at his swords. "I'm content enough with my current weapons..."
When the matter of the rooms comes up, he turns to the rest of the party: "I don't particularly care who I room with. What about the rest of you?"

"I have no use for weapons, but would be more than happy to split the cost of a room with someone, or even multiple someones."

Smiling good naturedly, Ki will pay the money for her room and ask directions to the baths.

The man points Zimmia to the back.
There are steamy showers, a jacuzzi-ish type thing, actual hot baths(ala Rome) and several steams. Everything is co-ed.
An attendent there, a girl of probably 17, smiles shyly. "To save on space."

The man looks down at Jinx. "Why don't ye jus' room with this'un here?" he says, pointing to Spade.

The man smiles. He has only about half of his teeth left. "Well, then, it's set'eld! That'l be 75 gold coins, or the equivalent, please."

"... 50 gp. Unless Ki wanted a personal room and there is no extra space with Jinx and Spade, I see no reason I should require an entire room."

((Ki'Zanne would have no problems sharing a room with Gnaf, and she's already paid))

Ki smiles at the attendant. "I don't really see that being a problem" she says indicating the mixed baths.

She then finds a relatively seclusive corner of the baths and disrobes.

"Were am I required to guard? the halls? the perimiter?" the warforged asks the innkeep.

The innkeeper turns serious. "Oi'd loik ya positioned at the corner there, were the lobby connects to the rooms. The 'ole building has an anti-magic field surrounding it, and the windows in the rooms are magical walls. The doors are adamantine, and with the best locks affordable. It's mosley jus' for extra protection, but I always 'ave a guard. Nobody should bother you."

OOC: I guess we're skipping to morning then.

IC: Morning dawns, or at least the equivalent in the eternally twilight world of Union. You smell bacon frying in a pan, and then a woman calling "Breakfast's ready!"

The hole night, the metal gaint stood there ... non could see the diffrence between him or a statue ... he just ... stood there.

As the woman calls for breakfast, the iron juggernaughts goes to the kichen, if only as social respect to the rest of the group, and goes standing in the corner. He greats everyone else who comes in the kichen with a monotome "Goodmorning".

Ki'Zanne

Ki rises after a restful sleep and spends about an hour in her usual morning ritual including meditation/prayer time. Interested in what the day holds, she packs her belongings and heads downstairs when called for breakfast, bidding all a good morning and then digging in.

Gnaf

An ear swivels at the sound of breakfast, and then the body follows as the nose registers sizzling bacon. After a yawn and spine limbering stretch the worg trots out the door to the kitchen.

As you all go to the kitchen and begin to eat, a knock comes from the door, and the innkeeper goes and answers it. A tall, red-haired man walks in. He and the innkeeper converse for a minute, and then the innkeeper returns to you. "Guy out there wants to talk to one of you."

At this a click happens in the tall warforged trouble?
He picks up his adamantine scythe, and with big steps he moves outside ... might be an ambush he slowly leave the doorpourch, making sure he's not caught off guard by anyone outside ...

The man stands there, looking at you. His eyes are pure white, and his skin has a silvery sheen. His voice is unnarutally loud, and seems to echo. "My name is Johnthan. I am here from Mr. Jarkins, and Ms. Frodins, to escort you to the Planar Cartographic Society. We are leaving earlier than planned."

The huge gaint blinks, and then picks up the human, his hand fitting nicely around the mans middle ...

If he did not resist, the warforged replied "OK ... but you're comming with me ... for all we know, you might be an other assasin ..."

The man squirms uncomfertably. "Um, please put me down, I have no problem coming with you, but, um, this is not only quite rude, but also, I'm claustrophobic."

The gaint holds for one second then he replies "Rude? I am not programmed for diplomacy. I have a Ally, Unknown and Enemy modus. As you currenlty have the Unknown status, you are considered a risk, and thus your rights to diplomacy have been denied" ... he blinks again, some gears are turning internally and then asks "What is 'claustrophobic'?"

After quickly wolfing down his breakfast the worg strolls out the door to check on the calling messenger and the sentient, animated metal hulk.

It was obvious even to an undomesticated being like Gnaf that diplomatic protocol, whatever that is, certainly wasn't being observed.

"Hey E, I think you should set him down. Gently. I seem to recall that these 'civilized' beings don't appreciate proper body contact and believe themselves entitled to a 'personal space.' We should respect that as long as we are guests in their city. It is also their custom to assume diplomatic rights first, and impose force second. The guards we talked with yesterday were polite enough to not assume guilt, so we should do the same with this man."

Ki'Zanne

Curiosity finally getting the better of her, Ki wipes her hands on her napkin and then follows Gnaf outside. She stops in the doorway and her eyes go wide. "Oh my," she says under her breath and then raises her voice, and hurries to rescue the man. "Gnaf is right, Eviscerator. In town, those you consider 'unknown' are many, and dealing with them is quite a bit more complicated. Please set him down, gently, on his feet."

Ki waits with her hands as usual in the opposite sleeve of her robe until Eviscerator puts the man down and then takes several steps forward. "You will have to excuse our large friend here. He is an outstanding fighter and protector but he is unused to urban life. Won't you please come in the inn while we gather the rest of our things and then we will all go on our way?"

The man dusts himself off. "Well, no harm, no foul. I'm actually used to a lot, lot worse. My entire body is covered in scars. Being messengers for some of the most powerful beings on the planes can hurt. A lot." John laughs. "But, the pay is good, and their clerics are great, so, I don't mind. Plus, I can't feel pain. That helps."

He follows you inside and waits politely while you gather your things.
