Re: Heroes into Hell
Nick looks at the pit sadly. "Should we really leave the body behind though? I'd like to save him if we could, but if nothing else, leaving the body behind may cause trouble in the future."
(ooc- Nick has no way of looking into the pit so he has no idea if he's dead or not, only going off 'there is a spike in him')

Re: Heroes into Hell
"Dead or not, he doesn't deserve to fester down in some pit. Is'sara, I will help you."
He will then help tie the rope off and lower Is'sara as carefully as possible down into the pit.

Re: Heroes into Hell
As the party tries to decide what to do about Feng's sudden death, the ringing noise from down the corridor gets louder. You hear loud shouts and those with darkvision see five black-robed men clustering around the archway opposite the one you all came in from.
Roll initiative.
SpoilerThe hallway is ten feet wide and twenty feet high. The pit runs the length of the hall, 100 feet, and takes up all buy a very small foot wide ledge on either side.

Re: Heroes into Hell
Melanthum
Once again, Melanthum finds himself with a suddenly dead comrade. This time, however, he simply sighs and shakes his head as he hears the approaching cultists. He shakes his head again, rolling his eyes to the ceiling.
You know, I really do hate cultists. Bad uniforms, bad taste, generally brainless, and they never seem to run out no matter how many you incinerate.

Korral, his sword already out, snaps his focus onto his enemies, reacting with lightning speed to their presence.

Re: Heroes into Hell
Is'sara
"They generally smell bad too," Is'sara adds to Melanthum's comments, as she works to untie the rope from around her middle.

Spoilerno matter what I roll I imagine I'm going to lose initiative to try and get this rope off - if it doesn't unknot I'll use a knife anywayPoet Laureate of House Kato

Gryfe
Gryfe merely smiles, and draws his swords. Backing up a bit, he prepares to spring over the pit...

Re: Heroes into Hell
((I will be incommunicado for the next couple of days, til about Christmas. Feel free to NPC me if necessary. I am at the bottom of the Init, so if possible, my character will fly across the pit to the figures. If not, if there's an open Dimension Door (never played a high level caster so I don't know how that works, lol) he'll take that. If not, he'll try and get around the pit as fast as possible and attack.))
