    No worries, we can work it out.
    Jorunn has 14 base wounds.

    Took 3 in the staged abduction (11/14)
    Shifted to werebear at the onset of combat and took no damage in round one. Werebear adds 5 to wounds. (16/19)
    Took 1 and 4 wounds, ablating a further 8 with a charm in next round (11/19).

    Let me roll here to see how fast Hrok is...

    icy resolve: +10 to wp against terror-causing adversaries

    survival instinct: +5 to outdoor survival and follow trail tests in the wilderness

    Rune-Scarred: You bear ancient runic tattoos that grant you a connection to the mystical energies of the Old World. These runes might offer protection, enhanced senses, or even allow you to tap into a limited form of magic. (i wouldnt mind getting these tattooed on jorunn, and i leave what they do to you)

    Stormcaller's Gift: You have a strange affinity for weather patterns. Once per day, you can attempt to influence the weather in a small area, summoning storms, calming winds, or bringing fog. (im feeling a wp test is needed, diff depending on the weather and what weather jorunn wants)

    Frostweaver: You possess a unique talent for manipulating frost. You can create small ice sculptures, freeze small bodies of water, or even use your abilities to slow down opponents in combat. (same as above, and penalties depending on warmth, and level of ice around)

    Dreamwalker: You have the ability to enter the dreams of others. This talent can be used for espionage, communication, or even influencing the thoughts of those you encounter in the dream realm. (penalties for range, and at the beginning a wp test may be needed to get in the right head-space. completely your call on whether jorunn has to be awake or asleep to dreamwalk)

    old jormungs whisper: You occasionally hear echoes of the god old jormung, granting you visions of the past or glimpses into possible futures. These visions may provide guidance or warnings.

    Norn's Threads: You can sense the threads of fate weaving around individuals. This talent grants you a limited ability to foresee potential outcomes, providing a bonus to Perception tests in situations with significant consequences.

    Alright! New round up.

    I like some of these talents you've generated; obviously I can't just shovel them at Jorunn or he will become a monstrous superbeast. Power gain ought to be slow in Warhammer or the journey is over quickly. For example, I don't expect to be done with Taalia's story for another couple of years, presuming Banana keeps at it. Jorunn's I have a little less structure for, but I expect it to be a long endeavour too.

    I don't want to force an intersection between Taalia and Jorunn. There's a natural point where their stories intersect and I'm gently coaching both of you toward it, but it wouldn't feel right for Jorunn to just jump in a boat and beeline to Bretonnia, and run into Taalia and become friends. Frankly, at this point in Taalia's development, I don't think she'd accept it; her experience with Norscans is having her family slaughtered and being sold into slavery, and then to the skaven. And it would me super awkward to have a combined scene that did not flow. So you have to let me curate when that happens, and Jorunn can develop his own saga more in the meantime - no shortage of mysteries for him to deal with.

    As for heading back to challenge that frozen champion - you could try! it's hard to know if you're strong enough to take him on, yet. But that's definitely sitting in your quest log in red text, waiting to be one day addressed.

    At a more metagamey level, that champion definitely has some advanced careers. Your bearform is an edge, but perhaps not enough to compensate for that. If you commit to that fight, he won't be pulling his punches.

    For now, you have daemons to fight.

    All I can do is apologize. I appreciate your toleration, guys. My excuse is lame - I sort of found myself the Admin for the Discord of Lava Lash, the main RP server in the current Season of Discovery expansion of WoW. I thought we'd get like 40 members and then I'd give it up and merge it with someone else's discord; but somehow there's like 600 people in there now and I'm anxious about trying to make it.. accommodating and helpful, and it stole much of my attention, and made it easy to rationalize neglecting my posts here.
