Hey guys, what's the difference between a lawyer and a catfish?
One's a scum-sucking bottom feeder, the other's just a fish. ;D ;D ;D

What are you talking about? I have soup with chopsticks all the time!
It just takes a really long time to get through it all. That or you have to make really thick soup.<link rel="signature" type="text/hilarious" href="/funnysig.txt" />

Just the evil ones. The class action lawsuit is on behalf of the survivors (those she didn't kill because they weren't evil).

Re: Order of the Stick: October 2005 I
It is also quite possible that the class action lawsuit, while not a very good pun, gets a chuckle and is a legal way to bring miko to court.
With your every step, these grand adventures shall grow more distant and faint. And there may come a day when you forget the faces and voices of those you have met along the way. On that day, I bid you remember this... That no matter how far your journey may take you, you stand where you stand by virtue of the road you walked to get there.

Re: Order of the Stick: October 2005 I
They levelled up after slaying the dragon if I recall...
Belkar has a pretty poor attention span ("What giants?") so maybe he didn't even think to check out his newly acquired 1st level spell list...
Or maybe he just spotted a lawyer and came up with the idea on the spot. He certainly had enough money to do so.

Re: Order of the Stick: October 2005 I
One thing I find interesting is that Miko actually thought she could cast Detect Evil on Belkar after he did the casual remark -- Oops I forgot my lead sheet...
Even someone as dim as Miko the microphone should have realized that must be a trap.

Re: Order of the Stick: October 2005 I
Belkar's spot check may be bad...but Lawyers don't seem to be the stealthy type. In my opinion, Belkar only has trouble with EXIT signs and ninja.
Also, you are wrong sir. This hotel is in the middle of SOMEWHERE, not NOWHERE. Also, it is quite a fancy hotel and if the lawyer happened to be passing through, it seems like a quite acceptable choice even for his snobbish taste.

I wonder who brought the 'no shadow' issue to the giant's mind. I know that I didn't notice it until now.

Breaking the fourth wall for our amusement. Thanks, Rich.
As for Belkar, he went up a level when escaping from the dragon's hoard. It was well underground, after all.Lurkaholic. Fetch me some more lurkahol.
