Literally, as read. That's the joke, a Dwarf isn't generally considered a weapon if it's noted because someone else has one.

It wouldn't be so surprising if a high level spellcaster like him had some strength -increasing item. I always ended up giving Imoen one of the giant strength belts. I bet she would have been able to toss Korgan at anyone.
