"And if he were to respond? Surely he, or rather it, wouldnt say, "Yes, Im a thing, here to destroy humanity, but leave me alone for a bit, heh?" He'd much more likely deny it if human, and deny it if a thing."

((Untrue. The game started out with 42 players and 3 things. Odds of us killing a grunt are high, whereas odds of us killing a Thing are very, very low. Since there is a limit to how much people the Things can infect, we're in no particular hurry here. The same holds true for today's lynch, except with a 35 non-Thing and 5 Thing ratio. (slightly more if you factor in the Traitor and the Assassin). Between three seers, a network should form soon enough, so there's no need to act hastily, kill off random people and hope we get it right. because that's what aids the Things.))

Points at Emperor Demonking

[FoE]

Five more of my men are dead today, and we are no closer to finding out which among us have been infected by the Thing.

I entered the break room today to find everyone shouting at each other, some even pulling out weapons. One man, Topher, banged his head against the wall. A few were just pointing fingers randomly, but most accusations seemed to be squared at Fin. I thought for certain that they may have ganged up on him, but he ran from the room shouting for protection.

I thought everyone may go after him, but suddenly accusations started flying at Emperor Demonking, who had accused Mustiado. There was no evidence against him ... but he seemed like the most convenient scapegoat.

Suddenly, the men were circling around him, and he cried out. I tried to push through to him, shouting for everyone to stand down, but it was too late; quivering in the middle of his chest was a knife, plunged all the way up to the hilt.

He sank down to the ground, eyes wide. "B-but I'm ... I'm not even ... a T-thing ...." he whispered, before going still.

I felt furious. I might have lashed out at his killers had it not been for the explosion.

It was another part of the complex, the communications room. It's a good thing the radios were completely useless — they had all been smashed — because the grenade blast had completely blown them apart.

I can only surmise what had happened, but I guessed that JMK had been here, and three other men — Travelling Angel, Darth Solice and pankake — had come in here, perhaps accusing him of killing someonenonotyou. Maybe weapons were drawn.

In any case, there wasn't much of either three left at the end.

"Take what's left of the bodies outside," I ordered, "and burn them in the firepit. Emperor Demonking as well. We're not taking any chances."

Emperor Demonking was lynched. He was a Grunt.
JMK, pankake, Darth Solice and Travelling Angel were autolynched. They were Grunts.
Night 2 will end Saturday morning at 10 p.m. or if I get all PMs in from special roles, whichever comes first.

Shadowcaller tends the fires that demonking and the rest of the corpses are burning in he stand there for some minutes seemingly thinking about what just happend and suddenly he begins to talk to the group.
Look what you done now, we have just killed a innocent person...how can we... This is all your faul!
Now seven people are dead, one by the monster, one by the fire and four...four by us, we are our own doom in this place, we will kill more persons that this thing will ever do it its really alive that some claims, and we still have no evidence of that with seven people being dead and all...
Except if it can create and controll fire of course...

"I said burn those bodies, Shadowcaller!" the captain shouts out, before storming back to his quarters.

In any case, the ground is most certainly frozen (given that it's minus fifty degrees). The only option is toss them in the firepit and light 'em up with the flamethrower.

Gnome looks down at the compilation of body parts and Emporer Demonking's corpse. His eyes bulge for a second and he turns his head, a lurch moving through his body and echoing out around him. "I can't... They're dead... I..." He manages to get out. As he moves off slowly, Gnome holds his mouth and does his best to stay standing upright. Shortly he left from sight toward an empty bunk.

This is nuts... I didn't wanna get him killed... but he was accusing ME..

-Clearly shaken, Mustiado goes to get the kerosene...-

DA puts his gun by his side, as he sits with his back towards the wall.
his right hand firmly on the handle of his combat knife, and the other on his handgun, his face looks as if he saw a ghost... he his clearly shaken.

"I shouldn't have came to this freaking assignment... from all the places, I could have died in... I am not ready to die here. I will not die while frozen, nor inside some foul beast... we must hang together people.. or we will surely die."

He pulls his hand from the gun, but stays with one hand on his knife. "no one will sleep tonight..."

"Speak for yourself. If I have to die I want to die rested, not wide awake. With tha said, I bid you goodnight. I'm sure all of you won't be here in the morning, so perhaps I should say farewell, in case we don't see each other again."

With that, I set for my room and lay down.
