Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
So; roast dinner time.
Being traditional roast lovers we have sprouts.
Today they are baby cabbages. These 'sprouts' are massive! Mine measure 2 inches in diameter! This can't be a sprout right? Wrong. Sprout section of the grocers.
There are three of them. I don't enjoy sprouts when they're sprout size. I dread them.....

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
That is pretty typical size for brussel sprouts(which is the only thing I can think of that matches your description.) Just think broccoli while eating it, and you'll do fine.
Fun, apocryphal fact: Cabbages, Lettuce, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts are all the same species!

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
But if you work out the volume of a sphere with a 2 inch diameter and times that by three...
You get far too much sprout for anyone's palette. EVen if they're cut up with a knife.

Re: Haruki's Historically Hilarious Honey-covered Random Banter #94
We only had two earthquakes here. I actually managed to oversleep the second one.
This one happened at approximately 0300 am. I was sleeping. We had a parrot at that time. Quite a loud one. And suddenly I hear this loud noises, like parrots usually makes. I was half sleeping at the time so I jsut turned around and slept on. In the morning I come to the kitchen and say to sister(who owned the parrot): "You better teach this animal of yours some tricks or I will " and she is all like and I tell her about the terrible noises the beast was making over the night. She then turns and tells me that was an earthquake. Then it was my time to be

Speaking of natural disasters, apparently there's a tornado warning in my area. Now I just have to look up exactly what that means, then I'll see about cowering in a closet.
Also now I think its hailing. *goes and checks*Last edited by Pyro; 2008-02-17 at 04:17 PM. Reason: news flash
