My wife dreamed last night that Belkar was running around with his little kobold hat. Then someone said "Didn't that kobold have some troll blood?" and there's a halfling-sized scream from off-panel.

Nice work. This week has been great!

I'll steal this site from you ;) and say that Nale and Elan (Hey I just got it), must have a lot of fun using that +12 jump, that explains how Elan came over that pit easier than anyone else in #4

One drawback to the minimalist art:

When Roy complained that he couldn't jump wearing all that armor, I was thinking, "Armor? He's just wearing a blue shirt with metal shoulderpads." :)

And, hey, no fair: Elan already defeated Thog, and now he's going to get to decide whether Nale lives or dies. Nobody else got to beat more than one opponent... Oh, but Elan'll prob'ly screw it up though.

Do you have any idea what the armor check penalty is on metal shoulderpads?!?

That's 'cuz Elan rocks ;D But seriously, Nale is his twin brother, and Nale did stab him in the back, and Nale was his original opponent before Thog stepped in - makes sense that Elan should be the one to decide Nale's fate.

True, but I think Elan's a bit too idealistic/naieve to (deliberately) let Nale fall to his death.

Thanks Giant for all these funny comics every day.

I think that if Elan tries to pick up Nale he'll drop him into the pit, because he was trying to do the opposite....

Thats the downside of these boards, I can't sense sarcasm just as easy, so I'll ask a question no one asks someone in RL: "Are you gay or joking?"

The "Gender:" entry would indicate otherwise.

Not that it really matters; paying more attention to one's SO (almost) always seems like a good idea...

    Would you believe both? ;D

I am gay, but I don't have a boyfriend... yet. There's someone I'm seeing, but I don't yet know how far that's going.

Given his newly acquired headgear, I'd say he's doing quite fine with them. ;)

On what days does the Giant usually update? Mondays and Fridays? Tuesdays and Thursdays? Or is there no specific day, he just makes sure to make a comic at least twice a week?

The "scheeets" look to me like he was dragging the daggers...like, nails on a chalkboard except instead of nails they were daggers, and instead of a chalkboard, it was kobold skin. And anyway, if he had used his hands...o.O I don't think Belkar's that strong.

But either way, the kid could use some new weaponry.

Well, he can pick up at least one larger sword off Yikyik, but perhaps he has an attachment to those daggers? Or maybe they're enchanted just the way he likes 'em. ;)

I wonder what the Order will do with Thog, since he surrendered?

Just noticed this was discussed before, sorry!
