Glunk, round VII

Need a refs interpretation here (spoilered for neatness, Adum, don't open):

On caltrops:

Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops (or spends a round fighting while standing in such an area), it might step on one. The caltrops make an attack roll (base attack bonus +0) against the creature. *snip* Any creature moving at half speed or slower can pick its way through a bed of caltrops with no trouble.

When it says a round, does it mean a full round? As in, if I were to, moving at half speed, enter a caltroped square and then attack, would I be subject to a caltrop attack?

You see, Glunk drain the potion, before throwing the empty bottle into the caltropped square, smashing it. As his muscles bend, twist and grow, he draws he sword, which, while he enlargens, grows with him.
