Re: Werewolf Central III - All potential wolves please read
Yeah, for some time now, even though most stuff got turned, since we turned it to just Fellowship first. And then we´l probably do two sequels, and maybe the hobbit.
And maybe some stuff more that I´m to think in how to fit it in...
Maybe end the third before the scouring of the shire and make that a seperate ww or something....

Hmm. I don't know if I'll be any good at narrating, but I'll do it if it'll help you guys out and allow more people to play. I'll PM you what my mechanics were probably going to be and you can use or not use whatever you wish. It's all in my head right now though, so I have to type it out.

Re: Werewolf Central III - All potential wolves please read
Everyone else is waiting patiently. I'll leave it to them as a whole to decide.
So, peeps? Whatcha think?
Yeah... in your dreams pal!
Yes they do! It makes my life Oh-So-Pleasant....
And, done.
Hey, it's not my fault you didn't schedule it.... Done.
Quit poking me.
I said QUIT POKING ME!!!
Oh.... thanks.
Yup. Agreed.
I'll get on it shortly. I update the Archives as a group, but only once in a while. It appears that I missed it sometime ago, during the last archiving. I'll search and edit in a bit.
Anyone else see any that I've missed?
As has been previously atated on many occasions, we're waiting for DLD on something.
We do realize that it's become a bit of a long wait. We apologize if it ends up being anti-climactic.
Aaaaaaaaand that should be all I need to respond to right now.

Werewolf X: Dragons and Dragonslayers has finished with a win for the villager side, and a draw between Dragons/Dragon Slayers.
Apologies to everyone for leaving you all hanging over the past few days.Check out past werewolf games at the Unofficial GiantITP werewolf archive
Also wasting too much time playing Evony right now.

Oops, should've mentioned that CurlyKitGirl will be co-narrating Fears 2 with me.
That's the second time I've forgotten to mention the co-narrator...does that mean I'm egotistical?

Re: Werewolf Central III - All potential wolves please read
I would like to schedule for LotR Part I to begin recruiting at the earliest date(which is currently begin december I think) unless both Andre and/Reinholdt have major objections to that. (three months, plenty of time to do everything

Re: Werewolf Central III - All potential wolves please read
Fantastic idea, and love the descriptions so far, except that I'm ambidextrous and neither hand is for Shadow.
A few thoughts...
Good team is WAY overpowered balance wise. 18 roles that can also earn special conditions if terms are met vs. 6 roles. 11 Neutral overall means a very small-small-small pool of players for the Breakers to hide amongst (35 all together!). If the game is about game-breaking, I can tell you now from experience with large games that it will break in 2 days. Tops. See discussions about games with too many roles for more details.
I think the Voider or "The Debacler" as it's called should be moved to Game Breakers side. Yes, it becomes more powerful there since the Breakers know each other, but well, see point above about imbalance.
Jontom Xire should have a role on the game breakers side as well. Perhaps something along the line of point changing (he can change someone's point to someone else without them knowing.) or maybe trained assassin (extra kill every 3rd night)?
I like the recruitment/cookie/pie thing. That's an interesting way to add another touchy subject (recruitment) into the game. I'm a little concerned with it's ability to break the game, because of the question "What happens when a breaker and a good guy get recruited into a neutral entity?" - But that depends entirely on how the breaker and good guy handle it i suppose.

Re: Werewolf Central III - All potential wolves please read
Not exactly following on how the Good Gamers are overpowered, sure there are 18 "power" roles, but by far, most are not glamorous.
The 18 just break up into these:
Night Baner
Day Baner
Seer
Fool
Scry-Shielder
Lover
Lover
Mason
Mason
Mason
Voider
Anti-Voter (-1 vote)
Narration Delayer
Procrastinator (Day Late Vote)
Bandwagoner (Dies if they follow two successful bandwagons in a row, and must lead a bandwagon to get a once-only scry)
Once-only protection from lynch or night-kill man
Good Under-the-radar lady
Changeable Alliance Mordokai
The first 11 of those roles are pretty standard roles (with maybe exception to Voider and Scry-Shielder), the rest mainly can be considered as negative roles or roles with little power. (although, in the right place the Narration Delayer could be killer *remembers his Vampire II lynch *)
I agree about the Voider should be moved, though not to the Game Breakers, Cristo can just join the ranks of the neutrals instead, since all the Game Breakers have pretty strong abilities across the board and will have another member once I add JX.
As to the cookie recruitments, I was aiming for that to be more like a WWX dealie thingie. If they accept recruitment, they gain the status "Cookiemanjaro follower" to their current role, or else the game would end up flooded with followers and the wolves vs. villagers conflict would be washed away.
Also, D-D has NO ability to see if the people he recruits are wolves or villagers, as that is of little importance to his cookie-hunting; so even if Shadow and Atreyu end up followers, they are none wiser to the other's basic role.Last edited by Griever; 2008-08-27 at 02:30 PM.

@^: Christmas and Halloween are both religious holidays, so I suggest we steer clear from both – or at the very least, from Christmas. Halloween has drifted towards secularity, so I dunno…
