Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Amist
Seeing everyone else charging into the fray, Amist pauses, then drops her greatsword and throws out a hand...
...only to see all the remaining enemies dropped before she can cast.
Again.
You know, you guys really should leave some for me at some point.

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Ouch!
I drop to the ground, holding my arm.
Why do you do that! I didn't even hurt you! I shout angrily, then stand up weakly.
Team, meet Keiko Mizobi, my brother.

What's your brother doing in a place like this, all on his own? Seems he already proved it's not entirely safe...

Amist chuckles at Cymran's assessment of the situation, nodding.
Perhaps so...
She gives the newcomer a nod.

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Keiko returns the nod.
I apologise for my brother, he can get a little carried away, and since this is probably the longest time he's left his room in about ten years...you will forgive him for being a little excited.
Amist Halcyon, a pleasure to meet you too. I am sorry for not leaving you anything to fight. He smiles, Perhaps next time.
Now, as to my reasons for being here. I am here to look after you, Haruka. The head of the family sent me to make sure you didn't get yourself killed. I intend to carry out this duty, wheter you like it, or not.
Any questions?
He sheaths his two silvery swords at his hip, and stands a little away from his brother and the bridge. Thanks to Sneak for the avatar. *gives him a cookie*

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
You dare assault me? Eldest son of the Mizobi house? I don't care if we are technically the same age! I was still the first-born!
I do not need your help, I have the aid of these most capable adventurers. Go home!
While I am saying this, I draw out my Rubik's Cube.
Do you want to make me use this again?

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Keiko's eyes widen at the sight of the small, multi-coloured cube.
Brother, no! The family made you promise never to do that again!
If you do that, you will be punished!
My question is not of their capability Keiko says, smiling at Amist, I am certain that their ability is far more than satisfactory. However, I am here by his order, and therefore, I am staying.
I look at the rest of the group:
Any objections to me joining you? Thanks to Sneak for the avatar. *gives him a cookie*

The young man looks at the newcomer and at his question says, "He is the boss. If he says you are to come along then you get to come along. However if he says we are to leave you bound, gagged and hanging over the chasm... Well then... Lets just say I like getting paid."Last edited by estradling; 2008-08-07 at 02:32 PM.

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Amist
The half-drow shakes her head a little at the brothers' antics.
Perhaps next time, indeed. And I, for one, have no significant objection to an addition to our party.
She then turns her attention to Cymran.
Indeed, and it is a shame that we cannot attempt to find out and perhaps salvage any of it...Last edited by The Bushranger; 2008-08-07 at 02:33 PM.

Excellent answer, brother. I was afraid i'd have to apply a little more...coercion.
Now, shall we get everyone over this bridge?
I catch sight of the Warforged.
Hmm...you might be a tricky one.
I look at the bridge, trying to gauge if it can hold the warforge's weight.
[I am not sure what check that needs. I shall roll a spot check]

Hmmm....
The thought of what treasure might await seems to be causing serious temptation.
She leans over and peers down into the chasm as the pebble drops.

I have to scurry off now, so in case we cross the bridge before I get back...

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
You see that the bridge would hold an emmense amount of weight, you also notice that a frayed portion of the rope where an earlier explorer plunged to her death while fighting the darkmantles. Beneath the bridge hangs a body, caught in the frayed tangles.
(Even like this the bridge will still be able to hold the warforged weight.)

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Well, now i'm part of the group...
I help Amist off the bridge when she gets to my end.
Careful I say, with a small smile.
So...brother, I think we should head through this passage. he indicates the only other passage out of the room other than the enterance.
Hmm...I think i'll go get that adventurer's body.
I run along the bridge ((1d20+4)[16]) and grab the body from underneath it, then walk back along it carrying the body, and set it down on a spot of free ground.

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
Since I had little choice but to accept you, you are getting paid nothing! shouts Avoraelde, in an annoyed voice.
Don't expect a share of the treasure either!
He examines whatever Keiko finds on the corpse he dragged off the bridge.

Re: Emi-chan's Undermountain Campain!
You find half-plate armour, a heavy steel shield, a +1 longsword, a masterwork shortbow with 14 arrows, 1 week of rations, a half-full water skin, one full and one empty wineskin and a purse containing 200gp.
((Lucky you))
Once you get onto the otherside of the bridge there is only one corridor leading adhead. The hall is partially submerged beneath blackish, inky water.

Now then, I will add the money to our current pile, and distribute it later.
Does anyone need a shield? Armour?
I do not know who is most deserving of the sword...probably Chronos or Amist, as Folli uses his axe, and no one else is really as deserving as them.
I'm suprised you don't want it, brother, you always did like the big swords.
