The room is dark, and as soon as she scans the darkness in the room for a door, she hears casting from a hidden spot. Its an enchantment spell, from someone in the dark that was hiding behind a curtain!
Sabriel shrugs off the surprise spell, and can act now.

She'll produce her last flame and send it at the person behind the curtains.

Sabriel sends her flame out as she casts, and misses, instead she hits the curtains and they catch fire. The priest laughs as he moves, casting another spell, as the flames light the curtains up. Sabriel can see it is the white haired priest who steps out. This appears to be his grand, master bedroom.

He casts another minor enchantment on her and she resists again!
"You are starting to annoy me elf! Weren't you told not to play with fire in other people's bedrooms."

It is actually lowlight in here too, since there is a elf-sized hole in the ceiling where Sabriel squeezed in here.

My father always said i enjoyed it a bit too much. I never did listen to him though,

Cast Summon Nature's Ally 2 and summon a Fire Elemental, and have it charge him.

"Foolish girl!" He snaps loudly, as the fire elemental burns him, he shakes off the flames that burned him. "I'm not playing around!" Concentrating he moves around the elemental of fire, and grabs Sabriel's arm. It burns her as she courses with negative energy from his cause wounds spell. {d:18}

The fire elemental swiped at him as he passed, but the flames miss! {AoO}

Sabriel curses at the man and breaks the hold as fast as she can. She'll have the fire elemental charge the man while she full retreats back through the hole in the cieling (Spider Climb).

Sabriel retreats up and out climbing the wall quick as she can. The fire elemental seems more of a nuisance than threat to the white haired priest.
Sabriel reaches the top of the hole in the ceiling, and is pulling herself up when he charms her with a low-level divine enchanting spell. "Please come down. The soldiers out there will kill you." {Will save 2+7}

Sabriel is forced to come down, as his charisma overpowers her easily. He will move close to her in a soothing manner.

She'll stare at the priest, and give him a death stare as her body doesn't respond to her movements. Elemental will still attack.

The priest ignores the minor elemental attacks on him, and concentrates on the elf girl as she nears him. He casts a spell, that jolts Sabriel out of her charm. It is too late though, for it is another wounding spell. This one for less negative energy, but enough. Sabriel will black out.
