Parsons Calculator Watch

Okay this might be a simple Question and maybe opening a thread is too much for it, but ...

In Erfworld 60 Parson got that Mathamancy Artifact and said that there is a spot where his Calculator Watch would snap into.
But i never saw him wearing a Calculator Watch in that strip or before that one.

So did he put it in later or doesn't he have it with him?

Maybe it will pop up later in a stupid meal and increase the power of his artifact?

Strange that he isn't wearing it when getting the Mathamancy Artifact and neither is it inside the Artifact. Oh well ...

Maybe he doesn't sleep with his watch on, and hadn't put it on yet when he opened the meal. Or maybe the watch fell into a plot hole.
